the stock medium spring - the spring kit offers a variety and is much better
Marker Setup: Spyder Shutter - 12'' stock barrel, 16'' Ice Cold Barrel, 32 Degrees Hard spring, VL adjustable elbow, 12 v Revi with X-Board, New Macroline Hose
Strengths: the variety in light, medium, heavy springs
Weaknesses: none
Review: i think this kit is great. It has all the springs you need for a spyder. I recommend using the hard spring for the velocity and the hard spring for the valve body. There are also light and medium. Its great for any player with a spyder I recommend u get this kit when u first get your spyder and it will work great with the stock barrel and parts. I would give this kit a 10 out of 10 it is also very cheap and the springs wont curve when u stretch them out. You spyder will shoot so much faster and harder with the hard spring. You can keep your velocity low with it in so your balls wont curve. And keep your psi at 600 to 700 to get a good amout of co2 usage.
Conclusion: I think this is a greta kit for the price and how many springs you get , and the variety. I recommend this product to anyone iwth a spyder.

Strengths: Light
Cheap
Keeps more constant velocity
Weaknesses: None so far
Review: First off, these springs are awsome. They keep a much regular velocity and lighten the gun a little bit. For only $7 they were worth it. I did a small test to see how much more constant the spring was.

STOCK SPRING:
Test 1: 286 fps
2: 268
3: 295
4: 270
5: 269

32 Springs
1: 288
2: 285
3: 287
4: 286
5: 284

As the test proves, much more constant.
Conclusion: Cheap, constant, light

Great for going LP!
Weaknesses: Nothing
Review: I initially needed a spring kit cuz I was building a marker w/ a E-99 body. I only needed a valve and main spring but I though what the heck y not buy a kit. It's proved to be very useful in the past few months. It's gone from snowing to 80 degree weather, and in that time I've had to switch the spring frequently to get the exact velocity that I want. Because I use a Superfly bolt and a AA barrel on my TL-X, I need a low tension spring for it to chrono at 285. My E-99 needs the medium spring and sometimes the heavy spring. Most kits don't include the valve springs, but this one does and for the same price as the other spring kits out there for Spyders. The valve springs allow you to get an incredibly high velocity. Some think "well, why not just put in the high tension main spring" WRONG, if you have a high tension spring in your marker, then when you turn the velocty screw in all the way the hammer won't catch on the sear properly . This prevents ur marker from firing (or damaging it!). If you put a low tension valve spring in, then the hammer can apply less force to push the pin in forward, causing a greater amount of air to enter increasing the velocity. However, this does give ur marker some kick (one time my body blew off my trigger frame!!!), and this is illegal at fields. Also, it is quite painful for whoever u are shooting. Anywayz, I just think it's cool and great for all those woodsball games where no one chronos!
Conclusion: A MUST HAVE for any Spyder owner. I try to stay away from tens, but this truely allows u to change ur marker if you desire

Strengths: If you cant get your velosity down, you can make it go down (or up)
Weaknesses: I neve know what the middle lenght springs were for.
Review: I had a problem with my velocity one time. I would take out my adjuster screw and still no drop in velocity. I changed my spring and that lowered it enough for me to put my velocity screw back in. I would have to say "Get this over anyonther spring kit".
Conclusion: If you are having velosity problems this will fix that right up.

and after that rubber band was discovered to suck, a spring plucked from a rental by the nice man behind the counter of my proshop
Marker Setup: Green Spyder Imagine
- Viewloader eVolution II
- Phat aluminum feed neck
- 14" black Evil Pipe kit
- Gen-X2 reg
- Shocktech chrome trigger
- Shocktech chrome volumizer
- AKA Turbo valve
- AKA Lightning bolt
- chrome bottomline and PMI remote coil w/slide check
- Pure Energy 48/3000
- 32 Degrees spring kit (lp spring setup)
- polished internals
Strengths: everything (I hate it when people say this but it's true)
Weaknesses: nothing (rrrrrrrrgh, I feel like a newb)
Review: Strengths

This kit comes with three color coded springs for both the bolt and the valve. The kit also comes with three smaller valve springs for the compact guns. This covers just about every base you could possible need covered in a spring kit. A must have if you're going lp. It's like totally sweet and, uh... I like paintball and stuff. Sorry just had to sound like a newb again.
Conclusion: As far as spring kits go, this one is the New York variety of cheesecakes.

Marker Setup: Spyder X-tra w/ ESP trigger frame, J&J Ceramic barrel, Pure Energy reg, PMI Perfect cradle, connected w/ micro-line, polished internals(32 degrees Venturi Bolt), 32 degrees spring kit. Color: Blue to fade Black.
Strengths: Come in 3 different strengths for 3 different springs.
Weaknesses: Wish they had a trigger spring.
Review: This spring kit comes with 3 main springs, 3 valve springs for COMPACT and 3 valve springs for SPYDER. This allows you to adjust the velocity of you marker by spring tension. Each spring w/ a different tension is color coded to make it easier to know what spring you need.
Conclusion: This is a great spring kit only I wish it came with a trigger spring.

Review: Well, this is a very cheap and easy way to change the velocity. I have a soft main / soft valve. It seems to give me less kick, but i unno. :] . For 7 bux you cant beat this kit!( i got it at my local store.) Get this also if you want to go lp.
Conclusion: Very cheap and effective way to change your velocity.

- A PMI "Genuine Products" spring kit (It was crap, all it had was four striker springs. In addition, the painted coating would flake off the spring and get all over the inside of the marker...)
Marker Setup: If you REALLY wanna see my setups... which I doubt, go to:
http://www.freewebs.com/f2f4
Strengths: - Includes several springs for both striker and valve
- Springs are color coded
Weaknesses: - No trigger spring...
Review: This kit was relatively cheap, around ten dollars. I really liked the fact that the kit included several types of springs, all in different strengths. This allowed me to fine tune my marker, thus achieving better efficiency. The color coating was nice, and did not flake off like I've seen on so many other spring kits...

The only negative that I could think of with this kit is it's lack of replacement trigger springs. For me, it did not matter, however, since I have an E-Frame and took out the spring anyway...
Conclusion: A must-have if you plan to go LP or just increase efficiency.

Weaknesses: None so far.
Review: This spring kit is great, after shipping costs it was only 12 bucks. If your going LP and your a former Enron exec., I suggest this spring kit. It's cheap, it's a good quality and it's needed for your spyder. It comes with all the springs you need for any spyder, you can't beat that.
Conclusion: I think I've said this twice already, CHEAP!!! I'm giving this a rating of 9 because it's long-term update is not available yet.
