This product does just what it says, replaces the stock grip-frame with a more durable and comfortable one. To install all you have to do is take off the stock grip frame. Next take out the safety and remove the trigger assembly, pull the trigger plate off, remove the trigger and take out the trigger return slide, return slide dowel pins, and trigger return slide spring out of the trigger; pop those into the aluminum trigger and put that on the trigger plate pins where the stock one was. Add the trigger plate, put it back into the grip, and push the safety button all the way through and put it on your A-5 and your ready to play! Be careful when placing grip frame on marker if you have an RT installed, or you may scratch the U where the RT adjuster rests. Another thing is the RT piston is molded into the frame, so if you have any problems with the piston you have to replace the whole frame. You get the same BPS, or at least I havn't noticed any difference. Trigger pull length and weight is about the same. One thing that you may want to do would be add a pad where the RT piston hits the trigger, so it does not scratch or dent. The trigger will wiggle a bit to left or right, but only if you push it. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This is a great product for feel, durability, and look. The only reason I am rating it a 9 is because the RT piston did not extend to allow response mode. All in all I would recomend this upgrade to everyone. This is a great upgrade for a great marker!!! |

| Review: |
I purchased this product to replace the stock grip as upgrade. I was very happy with the fit of the product on the marker, and the fit and feel of the grip frame in my largish hands.I was unhappy however with the perfromance of the trigger assembly after installling. I had lost the "sweet spot" in the RT and the trigger was the releasing the sear very late in the pull and yes there is definitely some side play with the double trigger. After performing some tricks inside the trigger internals with small washers, a new spring on the trigger , and a small brass bushing on the sear pin you would have to pull this product from my cold dead hands before i gave it up. I think the problem that caused this is not related to the length of piston in the grip but in the leverage of the new trigger. I think some math needs to be done by J&J to fix the problem. After performing my own mods in the trigger block I got the "sweet spot" back and rate of fire is out of this world. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
. I would give this product a 10 but I feel there are some bugs that need to be worked out for the masses to truly enjoy this product and get improved performance. I truly do like this grip I just wish it had better out the box performance. |

at first the main reason i wanted this thing was ONLY for the blade trigger cuz i luved em, but i missed the cool looke of a 45 frrame so i got it. well after reading these guys reviews i was really scared wiht this things performance . but after buying it i loved it. i mean this thing in really increased my rof noticabley and alowed for easeir adjustment from the side adjuster for the r/t, if you dont have the new version of the back butt plate then get it id did though. at first i was gonna give this prodcut a 1 but i realized my r.t piston was outdated so i sent it to j&J and they installed it for em. i got to sell my lapco universal mount and the r/t is kikin. though it is a little harder to find the sweet-spot, ive always been good at that so it didnt really make a difference . i dont really kno how this thing feels stcok cuz as soon as i got it i put on a sticky grip. so it is very comfy and feels more accomidible for the weird way i hold my gun. the trigger pull did seem a little weird but i fixed it with a piece of paper wich fell of and ive was gonna fix again but the way it is now is fine. i dont kno what was wrong with these other guys but i found the sweet spot easily so maybe they installed it wrong???? |
 |
| Conclusion: |
overall i luv this thing and it is pry one of the best things i got , it was a little pricy but if u already have an r/t and want a better grip, GET IT. now when i enter tounys i can just slip my s/t out and still skool em. |

I had been looking for one of these for sometime. Mainly because I can only take so much plastic!!!! Plus all A-5's grip looked the same and all had that sloppy trigger!
It give's the A-5 a professional look . And boy does it stand out at the paintball field. Very easy to walk too! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
It really sucks that this isn't made anymore. It really is a great product. My advice keep stalking on Ebay ! It's worth it. |
