| Review: |
If you use an old-school Model 98 (as opposed to the Custom), this is pretty much the only option you have when it comes to a double trigger guard. But thankfully, it's made by Lapco, which has a very high standard for finish and machining quality. This guard is hard to install at first because you have to first pop out the body nut, cut off the old guard, and then spend at least an hour filing and scraping and possibly drilling to get the thing to fit into where the old nut used to be. But once you've got it in place, it looks sharp. The shape is, well, sexy, and the black is deeply glossy, much like Lapco's barrels. |

| Conclusion: |
Though it may be your only option for the Model 98, at least it's a good one! I'm giving it a 9 only because of difficult installation, which is actually more the gun's fault than the part's. |
