Splatmaster Rapide=old and sucky(no comparison)
Brass Eagle Tiger Shark=the first gun i actually played paintball with(not really a bad pump for 40 bucks)
F2 illustrator=first good marker i owned, no comparison to my Nightkast
AGD Mini Mag=Shoots almost as good, not as fast and smooth as the E-bladed Nightkast
Dragon T.E.S=great for the money, close in accuracy, doesn't shoot as far, not as smooth as my Nightkast
Marker Setup: Set up 1: Blood Red Nightkast Cocker, 14 inch Evil Pipe, Egg II with Z board, Evil delrin bolt, Worr gas 70/4500 pre-set.
Set up 2: 96' AGD Mini Mag with level 7 A.I.R Valve, Level 10 bolt, 9 Volt Revvy, Z-Valve, HPA valve piston, Hurricane Labs 8 hole mod, 12 inch J&J ceramic, 16 inch Smart Parts All American, Smart Parts gas-thru stock, Intelliframe, HPA.(back up gun)
Set up 3: 95' F2 illustrator, 12 inch Armson rifled, 9 Volt Revvy, bottom line set up, 20 oz CO2, or my HPA.(back up back up gun hehe)
Recommended
Upgrades:
HPA
New Barrel-barrel kit recommend(closed bolt=ball rolling out of barrel if not matched to the barrel), stock isn't too bad but the Evil kit rocks on this gun.
Delrin Bolt, stock bolt is heavy and slows the marker down and adds a bit more kick
Fast hopper, Halo or Egg II, (if you shoot slow maybe a 12 Volt Revvy with x-board.... Detection eye will stop chops.)
Strengths: Fast
Smooth
accurate
tons of upgrades
consistant
eye
E-blade
Weaknesses: E- blade eats 9 volts like crazy
small leak down barrel
Review: I've used this marker to target shoot and i've played with it on a field once so far, I love this marker so much, it is so smooth and fast, i can snap shoot like 5-6 balls from behind cover......it totally rocks. With the Evil Pipe kit and the Evil delrin bolt i can put ball on ball from across the indoor field i was playing on running at about 225 FPS(max at the field was 250 FPS). The accuracy rules, i could hit an exposed hopper from across the field with a shot or two. Words can't explain how much this marker rocks. There are faster more expensive markers out there but cockers have been around for a long long time and i can get parts or my gun fixed pretty much at any shop or field........try to get parts for a Dye DM-4 at your local field......that was part of the reason i got this marker. The E-blade does away with all the bad timing issues that cockers are known for......just put air and paint in it along with a 9 volt and shoot.......i shot 1000 rounds target shooting with a VL200 gravity feed hopper with no breaks...the eye rules. on the field i shot 1100 rounds and i started with a full 4500 PSI in my 70 CI worr gas tank and at the end of the day shooting at 225 FPS i had 2000 PSI left......pretty efficient if you ask me. I love this marker.......the reg rocks too....a variance of maybe +/- 3 or 4 FPS.
Ok the Bad, the E-blade eats 9 volts like no tomorrow.......but, i got some rechargeable Powerex NiMH 9.6 volt batteries from Maha Energy Corp. and that is no longer a problem....i played all day and at the end i still had full battery power(they work great in the Eggy too spins a bit faster due to the slightly higher voltage). Note: Watch out with recharge-ables, most 9 volt rechargeable batts are only 7.2-8.4 volts and will not work well or at all in e-blades, eggs, or anything that requires a full true 9 volts like almost all paintball gear. The Powerex Batteries are a true full 9.6 volts.
After my first day of testing it out i had a small leak down the barrel, the pro-shop i got it from fixed it for free and it was just a small flaw in the valve seat(no biggie the marker still worked and if needed i could have kept playing)......no more problems at all, bound to happen sometimes in mass production.
Conclusion: I would recommend the WGP Nightkast to anyone looking for a higher end marker with the ability to customize and change the marker to their liking. I got mine for 850 bucks, a bit steep but the first time i used it the smile on my face was price-less. The marker has quite a few upgrades out of the box, and out of the box it shoots really well, i highly recommend a barrel kit(i love my Evil Pipe), and HPA. No it won't shoot as fast as a Timmy, but i don't really need or care to shoot 1 billion balls a second, plus, i got my Nightkast, Evil Pipe kit, Worr Gas HPA tank, and Evil bolt for less than a Timmy and i still had a few bucks left to actually play a few games with my new marker.( I don't hate TImmys or any other marker for that matter they just didn't suit my needs as well as my Nightkast). Even though i had a bad valve, i still rate this marker a 10.

Nothing at all! Don't change, remove, or tinker with a thing on this gun!
Strengths: 1. Accuracy
2. Consistency
3. WorrBlade
4. $300 less than E-Orracle
Weaknesses: Hmmmm....are they joking?
Review: Alright, let me first elaborate on its biggest strengths, well its main strength. It is $300 less than an E-Orracle with no considerable performance differences. People have said to upgrade the bolt, barrel, and reg. But why? The bolt is a Venturi, to me the best bolt on the market. A Verturi bolt is the exact type of bolt used in FreeFlow Autocockers, quite possibly the finest markers in the world. Plus, it is very hard for you to tell whether or not you are shooting a gun with a Venturi or Delrin bolt. If someone replaced the Delrin bolt in the Orracle with the Venturi from the NightKast, you wouldn't notice a difference in ROF. The barrel on the NightKast is awesome too. It is ported, plus is a two piece which allows for different sized backs. Don't waste your money getting a new barrel or barrel kit, the stock NightKast barrel is wonderful. Finally, the reg. Did you know the only difference between the Black Magic eg and Ergo Reg is the milling? So what is all the fuss about upgrading the reg. If you wouldn't upgrade it on the Orracle, why upgrade it on the NightKast?
Conclusion: I want to keep this short and sweet. This was my first gun ever. Alot of people said to stay away from cockers because they are complex and you can mess them up. Not a chance. Just don't tinker WHEN and WHERE you shouldn't. I had the store owner who sold me the gun teach me how to use it and maintenance it. No trick to it, once you learn the first time, you will be very comfortable with the gun. A spectacular gun! Finally a company has come out with a much less expensive alternative, while seemingly changing nothing except the name. A perfect 10!

Tippmann products, Spyder products, but none of these can compare to the Nightkast.
Marker Setup: 2004 WGP Blood Red Nightkast. All stock except for the bolt (I replaced it with a white Worrblade delrin bolt) & barrel (14" Smart Parts All American Barrel), 92ci 4500psi Crossfire tank, and a Revy.

Upgrades:
New barrel (just because of the length), bolt, and maybe some qev's for the ram.
Strengths: Price, speed, eye, costumer service (WGP is excellent), and it's an autococker.
Weaknesses: None
Review: I started playing the speed and airball at my local field and found that I really enjoyed them more then woods ball. I have a Spyder Electra that I upgraded to LP but it just didn't have the accuracy that I wanted. I have been looking at getting an autococker for a long time but I didn't feel like messing with it to get it timed. Then WGP came out with the electric grip frames; this is when I really considered getting one. I decided on the Nightkast because of the looks and the price. Plus, I don't need the "23 bps" like some of the other guns for $700 more. I want accuracy and the Nightkast has it. It's one of the best guns in the price rang. The milling looks great and the blood red color...well...that's just an eye catcher. I can now get the ball on ball shots that I like. My Spyder is accurate but not like an autococker.

I've never shot a marker with a magnetic trigger, and wow. THIS THING RIPS. I wanted to see how much bounce I could get so I tweaked the settings and started to throw some paint. Well, FULL AUTO. After a couple of quick trigger shots the bounce took over. It wouldn't stop firing till I touched the trigger again. Since at most fields this is illegal I reset my settings. After I put about 1,000 rounds through it in tweaks and paint blasting fun I decided to go to the local field over the weekend to really put it to the test. Well, let me just say carrying this marker from my truck to the staging area (about 50ft from the parking lot) got all the young guns wanting to shoot it. Since they were still re-inflating some of the bunkers I invited them over to the chrono to rip some paint. The Nightkast past all that I could think of for testing. From long balling, short burst snap shots, single shots and even one “let me empty my 150 round hopper on your bunker” continuous shooting. I was hitting other players on the top of the hoppers in the hoppers from the fifty all day long.

The Worrblade or Eclipse e-trigger is the best you can get for an autococker. All the timing (except for the regs) is done by the electronics in the grip frame and electric solenoid. All you have to do to change your timing is to access the timing menus from inside the grip frame. It also has 3 factory settings slow, med., and fast. So, incase you screw up the timing you can reset them to a factory setting and start over. I have read some people saying that the e-trigger eats batteries. The tech page on the WGP forum said that this maybe due to the eye cable being pinched or the cable has a fray and it’s causing a short. Plus the grip draws a small amount of power when off. To stop this just take out the battery when not using or turn the grip off between games. I’ve gone through well over a case of paint and the battery check is only showing a half of one of the little bars gone.

The stock barrel on this is a good barrel to start with. But, this is a cocker and a good barrel to paint match is required so you paint don’t roll out of the barrel and the stock is way to short. Since I have an All American on my Spyder I just bought the autococker back. I like the All American because of how quite the barrel is and I’ve never had a problem with it. Plus it’s easier when snapshooting if you can push against the air bunker with your barrel. You can’t do this effectively with a short barrel.

I also replaced the stock bolt with one of the Worrblade white delrin bolt. I do this to all of my guns because it reduces the scratching of the internal bore of the gun and it reduces the weight that the ram has to move. It’s not needed it’s just a personal performance.

The regs on this thing I thought were going to be junk and would have to replace them. I didn’t receive any shoot down or recharge problems on either, their great regs. The sto ram is pretty good too; not one of the smoothest rams on the marked but still is a good solid stock ram. Could use some qev’s on the ram to help in the venting for fast cycle time but not needed.

I got the 04 version so my came with the bottom line all set up. This is a new thing WGP is doing with all their 04 production run markers. Witch is cool because you don’t have to hassle with setting up your bottom line

This thing is great on gas. I use a larger 92ci 4500psi stubby Crossfire tank and I can play all day on one fill. I’m getting a case of paint with around 2,000 to 2,500psi left over at the end of the day with the Nighkast.
Conclusion: You can get this gun from $700 to $850 depending where you buy it. It's the best gun in that price range hands down, and you get the backing of WGP.

Review: The second i got to shoot the nightkast I imediately fell in love with it. After a couple games I really studied the gun and the milling on is excelent worr games really did a good job on this marker. this cocker is very consistant and I know because I got to fool around with it for a day. But the best thing about this gun is that it comes with an eblade and an eye. With this gun you can easily shoot 18 bps with an autococker!!!! The only real problem that I had with this gun is that it was really heavy but definately worth it.
Conclusion: If I had $750 I would definatly get this gun, but I will probably just save up my money for an eblade for my outkast. buy this gun you wont regret it for a second. Its also very heavy especially w/ an egg ll.

Review: First Impressions

When I first received this from mdholla10 off of PbNation.com I was truly amazed at the finish, half high gloss black and the other half is matte black. The milling is simple but appealing. It’s just two simple wave like swooshes on each side. It isn’t like all those Intimidators out there where, in my opinion, Bob Long milled to much of the body. With WGP not doing any radical milling on the body they left the customizability of the body up to you .

The Nightkast came w/ a factory installed E-Blade which means all you have to worry about is the hammer lug, back block, and LPR pressure. The trigger frame uses an optical sensor as opposed to the standard micro-switch that everyone else uses. For trigger return it uses a magnet. This combination helps to create a nice smooth pull with a very snappy return.

Quality is everything that I have come to expect from WGP. This marker just feels solid and very well built from first time I held it.

Weight

As with all autocockers they’re somewhat heavy when compared to other markers in the it’s price range ($300 used-$1,000 when bought new). When fully loaded w/ a Crossfire 68/4500 tank and a full halo b I found it to be quite balanced and easy to move around with. The total weight is around 9.5 lbs when fully loaded.

Accuracy and Efficiency

Using Zap performance series paint, Halo-B, and a Crossfire HPA tank at a distance of » 60 feet. Since this paint was purchased at the local Wally World I had no idea on how old it was so it wasn’t very consistent in anything and was always rolling on out off the .683 back on my E-pipe (.683 is the smallest bore in the kit).

Results were this:

Size of grouping: 12x12 inches
Amount of air used: 550 psi
Average amount of air used per shot: » 3.142 psi
Conclusion: Conclusion

I will suggest this to anyone how is willing to learn about it and how they operate. If you are the kind of player that needs the best of the best equipment then this is not a marker for you. Also great marker for anyone who fell in love with the sport in the mid-90’s when ‘cockers and ’mags ruled the tournaments, the age before Smart Parts began suing/shutting out any company that stood in their way.

Strengths: Value for price

Weaknesses: Autocockers are more complex
Worrblade missing delrin bolt and different hammer (not a big deal)
Review: This review assumes you can pick this marker up for less than $700, at which point I think this is a great deal. The nightkast is a worrbladed outkast, but without a full worrblade kit (everything but the delrin bolt and lockdown hammer is included which is not a big deal to upgrade in my opinion).

So far the marker has worked flawlessly, the Ergo inline reg keeps my bps to about a 10 bps variance (the pressure gauge goes on the front block, not the reg itself). The marker has good accuracy right out of the box ... (well it is an autococker), to the point where I am in no hurry to upgrade the barrel right away.

As for the double trigger it is full adjustable and magnetic. I am new to the sport so learning on a double trigger is fine, but if you have had a blade, this might be one of the first things you upgrade. The trigger pull is nice and light so I am sure you can get this gun to rip just as fast as any other.

These things come timed and ready to go from the factory so there is no problem there, but they are autocockers so if you are a beginner, make sure you are willing to take some time to learn (it's really not that bad, especially if someone shows you how it's done).

Conclusion: I think this is an excellent choice for someone who wants a mid to high end gun without dropping a grip o' cash for one. Plenty of upgrades available to turn this thing into monster in the future but really there is no need for your average player, the nightkast works great.

Getting a Nylatron/Delrin bolt to ease the wear and tear.
Strengths: Where to begin?! Ebladed, nice trigger (great for walking), quiet, fast as fcuk
Weaknesses: EBlade eats 9v's like a mofo. nothing else yet
Review: I just got my nightkast recently and completely LOVE it. It's fast as all hell, quiet, and accurate. The only things I have found so far that I dont completely love about it, are the fact that it doesnt have a safety and the eblade eats 9v's for breakfast. Simple solution, turn it off after the game is over, saves battery and it wont fire unless the trigger is on. Now that I do this after every game, I get about 4 full days out of one 9v. The anno on my Dye Ultralite matches extremely close to that of the marker so I look sooooo sekksie out there on the field. I let my friend borrow the gun and he has never shot a Nightkast, within 10 shots he had someone out and he needed no adjusting.

::::UPDATE::::
Still working excellent, only encountered one problem so far and that is the gasket in the solenoid leaked, for no apparent reason, very quick and easy fix. You just have to pay attention to how the gasket goes in and its a 5 minute fix tops.
Conclusion: This gun is great, get it if you like cockers and can afford it, I got mine for $760 and it came with the Black Magic reg =D (I dont know why, but im not complaining)

Upgrades:

Strengths: Cheaper than the e-orracle, while almost identical performance (IN STOCK FORM!!)
Weaknesses: It has the worrblade grip but no worrblade bolt,(No big deal here!!)
Review: The nightkast is a very solid gun, and it doesn't feel like a cheap plastic toy like other high-end markers. This gun is a great buy for anyone who do not have the cash for an e-orracle, but want one. There are only about 3 main parts that separate the Nightkast from the e-orracle performance wise, and they are the bolt, tickler reg and the black magic regulator. The worr grip is ridiculously fast, you can adjust the trigger pull to suit any style. This gun is great for tourney players, it's compact, lightweight, fast and hella accurate.
Conclusion: This gun slaughters all other guns in it's price range period!! IT has a smiple design, and a very sturdy feel to it. I would recommend this to any serious speed baller or rec baller. Wgp has come out with a great marker, it has me wondering how it will affect the sales on the e-orracle because the Nightkast offers you more for what you pay!!

Review: I have always been interested in Autococker's since the day I started playing. I finally now have the chance to own one and experiment with how it works. Traded for this marker straight up for my Ion, and i have to say I am glad I did. The Ion is a great marker and I really enjoyed playing with it, but this one is different. Let's cut to the chase:

Good qualities:

Fast- This thing rips some faces. Once you get a new bolt and ram you can get this thing shooting pretty darn fast.

Looks- Not only does it rip, it looks great all the time. I went out with it today and I just watched many people turn their heads, and some even asked me what it was(because there aren't that many from where i'm from)

Accuracy- Using the stock barrel(which is a very decent barrel if you find the right paintball to fit) I was getting ball on ball accuracy from $15 white box paint!

Efficiency- ALOT better on air than my old spool valved Ion which guzzled air like a Hummer guzzles gas. I could not empty my tank with the Nightkast, and I must of took over 500-550 shots! I finally let my friend finish the last 60 or so shots off. One day i will calculate how many shots I get per fill.

Quiet- For a high pressured Autococker, this thing is very quiet like most cockers' are(even with the stock barrel, very quiet with Stiff!).

Bad

Weight- With a full HALO and a aluminum nitro tank, this marker does get a little bit heavy. It is rather difficult to snap shoot with it. I recommend this marker for middies and back players.

Maintenance- Not too bad, but it does take awhile to take everything apart and put it back together again. I suggest looking at some kind of pictures instruction on how to do it(one in the WGP forum, very helpful!)

Pneumatics- The STO pneumatics are nice don't get me wrong, but a new ram would increase your cycles and reduce your kick to the point where you barely feel it. The bolt is also a good upgrade to get. A new bolt and ram working together would speed up and lower the kick a very noticeable amount.
Conclusion: Overall this is a great marker if you know how to take it apart, clean it, and put it back together again. I wouldn't recommend this marker to new players, or players getting their second marker(unless your first marker was an Autococker), because these can become difficult at times, but if you have some common knowledge and time you will be alright. Again middies and back players. This is not the marker for a frontman, because it's hard to tuck and snap with this, and the backblock or beaver tail may get your mask and put a huge scrape in the lense. Great marker, 9 of 10. (I will edit if i encounter any problems)

Review: I have been playing with this for about year and all i can say is wow!!! with the Pipe kit, if you can see it on the speed ball field you can hit it. At first i was not very fast but i read the manual adjusted the settings and not i am putting our 15 to 17 bps. That is about how fast you can shoot with out getting QEV's. The original bolt was a Outkast bolt though not bad it had allot of mass and tends to cause bounce. Get a delrin bolt and that will solve your bounce problems and turn down you front LPR and increase your TT filter settings.
Conclusion: Very good marker never let me down. throws lasers and good BPS what more do you want.
