Built from the ground up by Hybrid technologies. Extensive 3-d milling was involved in making this regulator popular in design.
The R-Drive operates at 0 to 500 psi using a spring, not a spring pack. This results in more consistent airflow and pressure. Bottom screw easily adjusts the regulator for better efficiency... |

installed after replacing stock reg - what a difference. Recharge rate is superb... stock didn't know what recharge rate meant. Running low pressure, I needed somethig that would rechare quickly and this reg works like a charm. Dads running a CP on the same type gun and has similar results. Break in period was noted - a little variation in velocity. But by the end of the day - re-chrono and have only +/- 4 fps... too cool!!!!!! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Great - as good as dads' CP for $5 less... |

Wow, Hybrid does it again. Hybrid always makes nice gear, parts etc...With every product they make. It has this look of sex appeal to it :) The milling on all there products is just beutiful.
This was the perfect regulator for my gun, with the Black/Red theme, The Black/Black "Hybrid" 2 stage regulator completes it. WIth all "Hybrid" parts, they all come in nice plastic packages with Hybrids logo etc... Upon opeing the regulator, you will already notcide they took the time to Oil it up using dow55, The design is very nice. Similiar to L.P.R. found on Timmies, just larger for the apllication. Very happy with the design, Very high high high flowing. Great Consistancy and no drops offs at all. This regulator will keep up with any gun shooting HROF, Will give you a very small range of +/- F.P.S. at the chrono.
Hands down, hottest regulator out there! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Amazing regulator. Great price at 70, SIMPLY a wonderful work of art that will keep any gun running smoothly. |

| Review: |
Well I bought this reg for my timmy cause I have had problems in the past with torpedo's and have had no problems what so ever with it. It looks good on my alias and is able to keep up with long fast strings of fire with no drop off. Like any good reg it is easaly adjustable. Not much else to say other than that it looks good and does the job well. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you are looking for a new reg check it out. It is one of the better looking regs on the market and it works good. |

| Weaknesses: |
Constant but could be more, no gauge, bad placement of input line |

| Review: |
I bought this reg for less than $50, from day 1 I was happy with it, it keep constant pressure, recharges very well, and looks damn cool. With my setup my shots will have about 8-10 fps speed difference so its good enough, actually the faster I shoot the more consistant the shots are, there goes the good recharge rate. I could use more like 3-4 fps difference but comon i'm shooting a blowback. The two ackward thinga i found were no gage or place for one, need to buy an adapter, and the fact that the lince comes from the side of the marker and with it being rather short it makes for a wierd handle even with added gauge adapter its still hold wierdly.
EDIT, after almost 1 year of usage I replaced the old gauge with bob long 500psi one, this allowed for more accurate pressure reading, and this let me to find out that i can't raise the pressure to 500psi, the most it goes up to is about 400 psi but i can lower it to less than 100psi. Also the manufactuers website is non existant and so I don't know where i could get replacement parts if something gets worn down in this regualtor. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
It is no palmer stabilizer but for price, the quality in both look and function is great. I reccomend this reg to anyone with regular or e-frame. |

No manual, looks really lame |
 |
| Review: |
After I bought my Ion, I quickly noticed a couple of shortcomings, the most notable one being shootdown. The stock reg seemed well constructed, but it just couldn't keep up with rapid firing. I set out to purchase a palmer, but my only option there was to go online for the purchase, and I can't stand waiting for deliveries. The dude at my local shop recommended the Hybrid, so I figured for 70 bucks, why not? The Hybrid came with no instructions or diagram, but it really was not an issue (easy swap). It would help to have something for breakdown and maintenance of the internals, but oh well. the input is located on the upper half . There is a receptacle for an attachment located opposite of the input, and the pressure adjustment is located at the bottom via allen key. On my ion, the input sat on the right side once the reg was fully screwed in, so i placed a teflon (tank) o-ring on the reg below the threads, and I was able to seat it where the input hose is nearly to the direct rear (more stable grip platform for me). I felt the reg looked super lame on my ion, so i modified the stock reg / grip cover to slide over the hybrid, and it looks almost stock (except for the air input location). I have shot compressed air through it with noticeably better results. There was absolutely no shootdown , and the pressure remained constant regardless of my rate of fire. I even shot co2 (via remote hose) through it, and it stayed relatively consistent. Since it is a upper feed vertical reg, I highly recommend not using co2 through it (less travel area for expansion), and keep all screens / filters in use. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
The Hybrid stage 2 regulator is a strong performer. I will post on it's durability once i get a couple more thousand shots through it. For now, I highly recommend it as a purchase option. I give it an eight of ten. (Minus two because of no manual, no website) |

| Review: |
Ok. So i got this reg brand new for my Nerve. I was immediately impressed by it's appearance. unfortunately that is where things pretty much went downhill. The other users here have all spoken highly of this reg however mine literally would not regulate at all. After doing some testing it was constantly allowing 800 psi through the reg. I am hoping i just happened to get that one bad one in the batch and that these are quality regs. hybrid is a company i will continue to support and promote but i will not promote or support this reg. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Due to the fact that this reg in no way did the job it was intended to do i am forced to give it a 1. hopefully hybrid can redeem themselves and accept the reg or maybe rebuild it because they have been a great company in the past and i am sure they will be in the future |

| Review: |
The stock reg on my 2k2 bushy wa fine, untill i got my chaos board. with the stock reg, i got horrible shootdown. So i asked my friend for suggestions for a new reg, i was quite suprised that he handed me this reg and said that i could keep it...Well I slapped this regulator on and my shoot down problems were fixed. The next weekend when i got to play, this thing performed like a dream, at the chrono I only had around a 4 +/- velocity change..
The only thing that is a slight disappointment is that the hose fitting comes out of the side.. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you need to get a new reg, get one of these. It is a very nice performing reg. |
