Review: I got this thing (sh#tty idea number one) and had my entire setup anodized to match.I then assembled everything, including the slik back block ,(this was sh#tty idea number two) timed it, added my own settings, aired it up ,then began shooting.I didn't even get the halo emptied before this thing broke then twisted, which clamped down on my all delrin bolt and gouged it. DO NOT use this product unless you have 3 metric a$$ loads of these in your parts kit. Yes, they do make the marker cycle faster. However, considering you would have to change them every 125-175 shots, the 3-4 bps increase is NOT worth it. I now have to get a different back block and hope thet can match the color.
Conclusion: This product sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would rather pleasur myself with a cheese grater than install another slik back block on my baby! The only reason this product does not get a worse rating is because pb review only goes down to one. It gets a number one all right, with the middle finger.

Strengths: It is light and looks good, if it would stay in one piece.
Weaknesses: Very fragile
Review: I don't have much to say about this product as I was only able to use it for about 200 rounds before it broke in half, pretty much wrecked the weekend for me as I was unable to play. I have contacted Slick to see what they will do about this. I give it a rating of one only because you can't go into the negatives. I have used cockers for about 9 years now and I am a certified tech, so I would have to say my block was installed correctly. Unless they change the design this block is the worst thing you could put on your marker.
Conclusion: I do not recomend that anyone buy this product unless you feeling like waisting money.

The only back blocks i have used are this and the stock 2000+
Marker Setup: miniecocker, super fly, free flow ram, outkast sledgehammer, freak, wgp miniasa/frontblock, some other stuff and a shocktech minipump arm
Strengths: light, small, looks pretty good...
Weaknesses: ...til you put it on the marker, fragile, expensive.
Review: I normally don't write a review until i've had a few months to try the product out but since this one broke the first time using it i've had to make an exception. First five mintes into thegame and the part that the pump arm screws into breaks. Very dissapointing for $36.
Conclusion: I can not recomend this product to anyone. I am going to contack Slik and see what they can do for me so my review may be getting updated, so don't start giving me flak about my rating just yet.

Strengths: Extremely light
Weaknesses: Won't work on Evo-style body, comes in black or chrome at the moment
Review: This is the lightest backblock made for cockers to date. Absolutely nothing compares to it. If your looking to make your electro (non Evolution or STO bolt) cocker shoot as fast as physically possible this back black will help you reach that goal. I recommend you also get SLIKs delrin pull pin also. Those 2 together will without a doubt lower your recoking settings.
Conclusion: If you are trying to squeeze out every last bps out of your E-Blade/Race get this backblock if your gun isnt half-bloked.

Marker Setup: 1 SystemX Pro 4.0 Xonik & 1 SystemX Xonik Marker, both have
Titanium Pump Rod, Silk Bolt & Pin, Silk Back Block, Shocktech PHAT hammer and RAT valve, QEV's. Trigger frame set at 18BPS. 5K Pure Energy HPA
Strengths: - The most lite-weight back block I could find
- Look great
- Well made
Weaknesses: - So far, none at all
Review: The Silk back block and bolt combo has to be the most lite-weight back assembly available for a cocker. I wanted to increase ROF but as important was to minimise trigger-bounce because most tourneys now are pretty strict on the no-bounce rule. I heard that the back block are pretty weak and break, although early days my 2 have installed and worked just fine. One of the two markers is a demo and is used a lot, this weekend it was being used flat out by two teams and had spent the whole of the previous day on the field at team training, at a guess probably about 15 or so cases of paint through the marker so far, no sign of wear on the block. I have the marker set at 18 BPS, but during initial setup and testing I pushed the marker to a genuine 22 BPS and it was still cycling properly, for me anyway, that's about the fastest cocker I've ever seen. At 18bps though I figure it will be just that bit more reliable and it hardly breaks any paint.
Conclusion: Well, if you install the block properly I can't see why it should break so I have no hesitation in recommending the product. Even if I do have to replace it after 6 months or a year, it'll be worth it for the extra speed and reduced trigger-bounce. If I do have any problems I’ll be sure to add to my review or write another.

Right now I give it a 10 because it helped me achieve exactly what I was looking for.

Strengths: Very light
looks sexy
Weaknesses: May not seem very durable becuase its so small.
Review: I just recently got this back block and it is amazing, i read reviews of people who didn't even get a hopper out of it then it broke, they probably had their lpr set to hight or somthing, plus they garentee it for life so if it breaks beucase its faulty just send it back. This made my gun faster at a lower cocking pressure with almost no kick at all.
Conclusion: I recomnd this to any one who has an extra 30$ hanging around, expecially if u have an eblade.

Strengths: It's the 2nd lightest on the market next to the featherblock, they look pimp
Weaknesses: It will root out any flaw in your pneumatics (read below)
Review: Ok so I read the reviews on here, they were mixed, but I read up on the SLIK website and they said that they improved on the original design and haven't had to refund any money to date. So I said "What the hell..." and went ahead and ordered one. It came and I installed it, no problem. I get to the field that weekend, and I had some badass settings in my gun but I was too lazy to loctite the arm and the block together. I get it filled and I give it to one of my friends. He starts rippin' at like 17 or somethin, and then the am goes limp. Bad. BAD BAD BAD. The arm was fine but the ram wasn't the threads of the ram arm broke off into the pump arm. Luckily he paid for it, no big deal.

To make a long story short, I've just order my THIRD NEXUS RAM AND PUMP ARM. Now I have to admit that although I loctited everything the second time around, I screwed up. I took the cocking rod out and, since the block is sooo small, it started wiggling and the beavertail didn't catch it like it did the stock back block. Broke the same way. SO NOW, I'm gonna lower my settings and my LPR pressure (which was a little higher than normal) and not dry fire it EVER.
Conclusion: Don't run your LPR extremely high with such a light back block or your ram and arm will fail. Listen to a guy with a bad history with rams (1 broken Shocktech--unrelated, 2 broken Nexus--SLIK). Make sure your settings don't yank the back block like mine did. And don't shoot the gun so much without paint because the kick will mess with the back block too much. There was NO PROBLEMS when I shot paint (the little time that I did shoot paint). Overall I give it a seven because it wasn't directly the back block's fault that my rams broke.

Marker Setup: Hollow point 3-way , Jam-anti chop bolt, jackal 90*swing, reloader B, on a mech autococker what else matters??
How many times have you seen a ref ask a guy with a mech. cocker if he had it on auto?
www.madcocker.com for the bolt.!!!
Strengths: Small, I opened it. Then lost it in the carpet.
Weaknesses: My cocker looks like I forgot something.
Review: With ccm aluminum pump arm slik cocking rod, and the Jam Anit-Chop Bolt, not having over weight hammer I'm happy with the weigh of my cocking mass.
I was a little worried that this would be weak having read other reviews. I noted that they (SLIK) had fix the prob.
I also threaded this thing on two turns too far and dry fired the snot out of it.
If it breaks this post will be updated, but. I'm not going to bother carrying my old back block with me to the field.
Conclusion: Going for light this is IT. My baby now looks like it wearing a g string back there!!?
I want light and don't want to chop. This will help counter the weight of the Jam Bolt.
which will let me lose my heavy hammer.

Review: Very hard to get, not fragile has a lifetime guarantee. I put this on my sto no kick. I was very very impressed. It is a very light back block. The milling is awsome too. my next gun i am going to get a superstock and put all the parts from my sto on it it will rock.
Conclusion: Buy one very light
