I have a Diablo Inferno Terminator, I don't have any upgrades. I like to use a gun right out of the box for at least a year so I can give a useful review.
Recommended Upgrades:
Well first of all a new barrel for increased accuracy. After that eventually a bottom line set up rather than a vertical for a more even balance, but not needed, a 12v or higher because this ting gets going fast
Strengths:
Shoots fast as i can pull the trigger, i can strip it in seconds
Weaknesses:
barrel, you need alot of oil, i mean alot, see below for more good/bad
Review:
This gun is amazing, there are too many good things to say about this gun, its compact lightweight, kick ass looking, powerful, it co operates with ANY kind of paint it shoots as fast as you can pull the trigger, its an under rated gun by far, efficiant on co2, its as solid as a brick comfortable, i havent had a problem yet, the only things that could pose a problem are only miner things like, if you prefer vertical co2 or bottom line, the 10" barrel isint even that bad, if you like playing woods ball get a dark colour, if you play speedball doesnt matter, to tell you the truth there are no real bad things about this, gun just make sure you oil it everytime you use it, and make sure the proper exhaust valve is in it, black for 25 Celsius and below adn white for 26 and up, you get the black one in a baggie in the box make sure you have it before you leave the store or wherever you got it, and just dust off the exhaust valve and valve guide, its an excellent gun for a new player who is eager to learn about this great sport, or an expireienced player please consider it for a primary gun but especially a back up you wont regret it
Conclusion:
This is a gun for anyone involved in the game, I'd take this gun over spyders and tippman custom 98's because they are a pain in the ass to take apart, I could take the Terminator apart clean out the body oil the bolt and put it back together before the screws are even off the tippman custom 98, the instruction are so easy a chimp could understand it, this gun is pure user friendly and perfect for a low budget it works with any paint you'll find. I give it a 9 because there is no such hting as a perfect gun, if there were everyone would use that gun, and there would be no point to this site.
This gun is extremely fast. The terminator is really accurate. It was designed by the same designer of the Evolution Autococker. It field strips in a matter of seconds. Easy to clean. Lightweight. It is also pretty quiet.
Weaknesses:
My friend who has had this gun for about 6 months has had to deal with many air problem. Consisting of blown internal o-rings to a leakage in the gun that leaks for about a minute and then just dissappears. Other than that no problems
Conclusion:
A very good gun when working. If you know how to work on these things i would recommend it to you.
Spyder Classic- Not even Close. The spyder has many plastic parts, and is much harder to take apart to service. Also, the stock barrel on a spyder is terrible, but what else is new?
A Regulator or Expansion Chamber
Bottomline setup (Unless you like Vertical Bottle Setups)
A Motorized Hopper
Strengths:
First off, out of the box it looks really great for it's price range. Nice milling and INFERNO etched in it. It feels solid when you hold it due to it's almost entirely metal construction. The trigger pull is relatively easy for a mechanical trigger. My gun came with the rubber grips on the handle and that made the gun pretty comfortable. The Enhanced Volume Chamber is HUGE, I mean REALLY big. You can gas up the valve assembly outside of the gun to check for leaks in fhe valve or possibly bad cup seal, sort of a nice feature. The thumbwheel velocity adjuster is convenient. This gun can run as low as 300 psi, which is pretty good for a standard blowback marker. The barrel is pretty accurate for a stock barrel.
Weaknesses:
This gun is HEAVY with everything on it. I haven't weighed it, but I think it feels heavier than my friend's JT Excellerator 4.0. It's LONG, about the same length as an ANGEL It is pretty loud even with the pressure turned down, but my regulator isn't really broken in yet, so it remains to be seen. Doesn't come with a bottomline, kind of a personal preference but I think most people like bottomlines.
Conclusion:
I'd say a very good gun for it's price. Can use a few upgrades, but I'm the kind of person who sort of enjoys doing that. It is somewhat heavy, so for smaller or younger players I would recommend a smaller bottle or remote setup. Very accurate for a stock barrel, best at shorter ranges. The trigger pull is nice and crisp and the gun can be stroked pretty fast. Overall, I like my gun.
The gun is solid and well build, take down is like 3 seconds.single lever trigger, ( I use my index finger as a pointer),actualy pretty good compared to other in this field of guns for the price. Vert feed. Very fast. Awesome with an HPA system. Great at 40 yds, especially with HPA system.
Weaknesses:
only thing negivate about the gun is the upgrade path. but I am working on that, I understand that some of the parts from the Spyder line fit the gun, so I will be doing some research on it.
here are the factory upgrades

Conclusion:
I think that the gun is realy great. I owed a Spyder Compact 2in1, with Regulator, ALL American 12in barrel, cyclone bolt II (polished) and had a trigger job done on it. Stock this gun would smoke it. I would suggest that you get a good regulator and a bottom line or a remote, especially if using Co2. On HPA the gun really shows it stuff.
Here is a site that gives it a good review, alittle more indepht that what I did, check it out, see what the pros have to say!

All I really can say is try it, because you will buy it!
only reason not a ten, is their is always room for improvement
This was my first gun purchase and I am very pleased with it. I chose this over Spyders and Piranhas, due to the better quality and design. I also wanted something different which not many others had.
It has a quick strip pin which you could strip down the gun in less than 3 seconds...and that's being modest. It's possible to do it in 1 second!
It comes with an aluminum .45 frame, unlike the composite frames of Spyders and Piranhas.
One other thing is that it accepts Spyder barrels...so your selection is endless.
Weaknesses:
Nothing bad so far...
Maybe one thing is that there aren't many upgrades for it, but I doubt it really needs any.
Besides upgrading the barrel, you don't really have to do much to it.
Conclusion:
Overall, a great gun for a beginner and as a backup.
bOO-yAAH is also making an elcd frame for it which I'll be getting in the future.
For $150, you can't go wrong with this gun.
If you want something besides the typical Spyder or Piranha, go with the Terminator! (*not trying to bash Spyders or Piranhas...just to clarify*)
This gun was my seccond ever gun. my first was the inferno rental gun, then i quickly moved onto the inferno terminator gun, which was a good investment.
The gun has a fast firing rate, and its pretty light.
I think that it uses up a lot of gas, maybe its just me.
im a beginner to paintball so im not very good on the technial sides, but ive been very happy with this gun
Gun looks nice too
Weaknesses:
ive had a fair ammount of barrel bursts in the gun, and ive chopped a ball in the hopper too which ruined all my paint.
Conclusion:
this gun performs well out of the box.
the price is right too
i would reccomend this gun to a beginner, but not to an experienced player. if you have the cash, get an autococker 2000. everyones got good things to say about it, and its a tourey level gun
I am finding more and more about the gun, this is a add on about it. I have found that some of the Spyder Parts and Auto cocker parts fit the gun, so this open the upgrade path very much. The gun is getting more and more appealing all the time
Weaknesses:
Only thing I do not like is the cocking pin, especially if you ungrade it, I suggest using a pull pin from your local hardware store, before you lose the one you have, you will have a backup.
Conclusion:
Bolt upgrade
Well I installed the Shocktech Delreni Bolt! It is ez, all you have to do is but the one for the spyder, with out the quick release. Next you insert your cocking pin, not to far as you will hit the springs. tighten the screw(allen) in the back of the bolt. I went to a hardware store and got a quick ions pin, it even has a pull ring, which is pretty nice. I can tell you this, the performance increased alittle, but what is nice, is the metalic sound is now gone, very smooth, as my buddy say, SWEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!
Also in the works,a turbo valve from AKALMP, I understnd that this may also work, as time and money permits I will find out
