XTreme X-10 Drop

Marker Setup: Primary - Spyder Rodeo (Green): 8" Armson Pro Barrel, Kingman ESP IPI 3.0, eVLution 2 Hopper, Evil Scion 68cu HPA/Nitro System, CIP 15* Assault Block, Bob Long Torpedo Regulator, CIP Full Force Delrin Bolt, Lapco Clamping Feedneck, Maddmann Rocket Valve, KAPP 800psi Microgauge, Marksmann Addon Drop, Maddmann Springs, Belsales Macroline Kit.

Secondary - Pre 2000 Autococker (Black): STO Ram, Outkast Adjustable Front Regulator, Angel Inline Regulator, Dark Vengeance Delrin Bolt, Fake Suppressor, XTreme X-10 Drop, Marksmann On/Off Adapter, 20oz CO2 Tank with Anti Syphon Tube and On/Off Valve, WGP Ammo Box Hopper... and the rest is stock!
Strengths: It's small and sturdy. Compatable with standard Dovetail mounts. Designed for CO2 tanks.
Weaknesses: Nothing severe. Available only in black. Designed for CO2 tanks.
Review: This is a nice little drop from Marksmann that comes with mounting screws. The two grub screws can be removed to accomodate the Evil Scion's Rail or a standard bottomline. It might be a bit thick on the back for some people, maybe, but I think it works well with my setup. I didn't get the Marksmann Addon sticker on mine that would've covered the grub screws but that's okay as it looks better being plain black.

It gives a nice and tight setup for your tank being that it's a little bigger than the stock one I had on my Rodeo and it is compatable with standard Dovetail mounts. It works great with my Scion but even better with a CO2 tank set up with an Anti Syphon Tube as it gives a slight upward angle to your tank, really helping in the prevention of liquid CO2 entering your marker.

All in all a nice bit of kit and Marksmann have good, friendly customer service too should you have any problems (they originally sent me the wrong screws but sent out the right ones right after I contacted them).
Conclusion: I've recommended it to my friends already so, obviously, I think it's a worthwhile addition to your setup... and it looks simplistically mean with the Marksmann On/Off. I give it a 9 because nothing is absolutely perfect for everyone (see weaknesses). Get one and enjoy!

Paintball
Experience:
More than 5 years
Marker Setup: Extreme Automag in Flame Red, Cut and Carve, level 10, Amergedon 2, Addon Drop forward, Warp feed.
Strengths: Shallow profile.
Weaknesses: Lift off the badge to gain access to the grub screws whilst fixing.
Review: I received the new Marksman "addon" drop forward just before this years (2004)indoor training event perfect timing as not to hinder an important tourney I noticed this new drop forward is shallower than most I have seen by at least 15-20mm this brings the bottle tight to the gun receiver yet sufficient to make it more comfortable. I then adjusted the distance between bottle and gun for my desired arm length ie tight so I can fold my arm under the gun to reduce the profile further. The comments I got from the trainer / observer was my aim had improved due to the stability on the gun, this I believe was improved by the drop forward.
Conclusion: Full on recommendation, the proof is in the improved stability of my marker.
