Thise kneepads are just about perfect, if you have no leg hair, and don't mind practically cutting off the blood flow to your legs to keep them on. Beyond that, they are fairly durable (good stitching), relatively comfortable (I forget I am wearing them on the field, but then again, I forget about lots of other stuff as well), and easy to wash.
I wear mine underneath my pants, so they stay in pretty good condition, and I suggets everyone else do the same, it takes a lot of wear and tear off of the pads and puts it onto the pants, which is generally good, considering most PB pants are made to be sliding in. I haven't had any problems with the stitching, straps or craftsmanship in any way.
On the down-side, unless you are comfortable with kneepads being on REALLY tight, they will slide down your leg, especially if you play aggressively. Also since it is made out of neoprene (I think) it is really grippy, and pulls on my leg hairs, but that is really minor. Also I it is a little bit harder to run in them, but I think you will probably get that with most other protective equipment.

| Conclusion: |
Overall these kneepads are great, comfortable with the one problem being that they slide down your leg. |

| Review: |
These pads are really well build. After 3-4 months of me using them every weekend they have held out really well. Ive only had one rip but with a little stitching it was great. When you kneel on the hard ground with rocks and branches, you can play comfortable instead of shifting you weight because of pain. They are very comfortable and you forget you have them on sometimes.
This brings me to my next point. If you slide wrong or didn't have them tight enough, they will slip down your leg. Especially if you play hard and start to sweat.
Also the Velcro gets alittle weak, but it still works fine. |

| Conclusion: |
I would recommend these to anyone. |

Need to be worn under pants. Sized wrong. |

| Review: |
I picked these pads up because I was getting very sick of my Renegades sliding around. So far they have stayed in place with only little movement when doing a very agressive slide.
My old Renegades had only a single adjustable strap across the top, this made them very hard to keep tight. I would go home with bruising because I had to cinch them down to tight. The Ronin's don't. I tighten them down snug and adjust them as my legs sweat. Since the straps are neoprene, they are very soft and comfortable.
The knee gel is very comfortable and absorbs impacts well. Even going into a full knee slide is comfortable without jarring the back. The shin protection is soft and pliable as well.
The downside is that they are neoprene. This means you will want them under your pants to keep them protected. They can gather up all kinds of nasties and cuts if worn on the outside. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I'd recommend anyone in need of a good set of lower leg pads that they want under their pants.
If you get them sized properly (they are actually just a single size larger than advertised) they will fit without cutting off your circulation.
It sure is nice to come home after a hard days play and not have the wife complaining about my bruised up legs! :D |

| Review: |
These pads are a VERY good buy for back players. I got mine for $18 shipped off of eBay (brand new). My first impression was "Wow, these things are well-made!" I put them on and am still impressed. My only problem with them is that they are so thick (for increased protection) that it makes moving difficult. I play the front, so speed it critical. For that very reason, I sold them to my dad (for under-the-car work) for $10. He was very impressed with them, although he wasn't using them for paintball. I'd say these are an exceptional buy for any back player, but would not recommend for front players. And because I am a front player, I give these a 7. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Back players- BUY now (eBay has a lot for sale)
Front/Mid Players- Go with the more manueverable and compact pads by DYE, Redz, or JT |
