Review: This is my single most favorite upgrade I have done to my gun. If you are still using the stock adapter with your gun (along with the plastic adapter) I HIGHLY RECCOMEND this upgrade. You won't have to fidget around with tightening the screws on your adapter. This thing will also grip onto your hopper to keep it from spinning. It will also lower the profile of your gun, which is a very big plus. It was worth every red cent of the $20.
Conclusion: Go buy it.....what are you waiting for?

Strengths: 3 set screws secure it in place, Flawless Black Anodizing, Holds Hopper securely in place.
Weaknesses: None.
Review: I am soon to purchase a HALO hopper and have been worried about having to shave the neck down for a secure fit in my feed neck. I have used the CIP feed neck for around a year, and, though it worked great for my Revy, I wanted a clamping neck for the Halo. The CIP Sure-fit is available, but I didn't think it was as nice looking as the Lapco.

ID of base portion somewhat larger than expected. Not as Snug as CIP neck. ( .003" difference, nothing major) but the near vacume fit of the CIP gives the impression it is more secure. That is untill the 3 set screws are tightened. Then you can clearly see that the miniscule difference in the ID is insignifigant.

The set screws (3) when tightened lay flush with the base portion allowing the clamping neck to tighten down over the set screws if necessary. A bonus.

Service was good at Lapco, in spite of a problem with UPS. I spoke to a Lapco rep. named Dimitri, over the phone. He was very understanding of my dissatisfaction with the UPS blunder, and refunded my express shipping charge, as well as assured me that he would contact UPS, straighten out the problem, and call me right back. He did just that within ten minutes, and we ended the conversation with me feeling satisfied with their service. I recieved my products as promised the following business day. Great job Dimitri!!!

Conclusion: All in all I'd have to say that Lapco is one of the tried and true businesses in the industry. They know what their customers want and strive to give it to them. The Lapco Clamping feed neck delivers everything as promised. I would reccomend this Neck to anyone looking to rid themselves of plastic feed necks, or any who wish to step up to a clamping feed neck. Great Job Lapco.
In the future I would like to see companies like Lapco and CIP move away from the slip-on replacements, and opt for a screw mountable base, with the clamping ring.

Review: I just recently picked up this feed neck to replace my stock broken plastic one. After using it i found it clamped very well on my hopper. It didn't move around or unscrew at all. And since it is metal it wont break like plastic ones. Also it lowers your profile from the stock plastic one .5-1 inch. I think this is a must for anyone using plastic feed necks.
Conclusion: This thing is by far a great investment to keep your paint on your marker all day without having to worry, and you can get really good prices on them too. I got mine for $15 CDN new.

stock spyder feedneck with crappy plastic adapter
Marker Setup: spyder imagine, lapco clamping feedneck, palmer pursuit pro stabilizer(male), smart parts freak barrell w/ all american front, dye sticky grips. maddmann high flow valve, egg II loader
Strengths: -replaces your stock feedneck(version with ears)
-clamps around any hopper with no sanding
Weaknesses: none
Review: The feedneck is beautiful. It looks way better than the stock feedneck and it holds my hopper in place with absolutely no wobble or play.I used to be afraid my evolution II would snap the cheap plastic adapter in half during play, but the lapco feedneck holds my loader much more securely. I dont worry about my hopper anymore. It is easy to install and use. Just slide your hopper neck into the adapter and turn the clamp until it locks in place. Great product.
Conclusion: If your looking for a replacement feedneck look no further. This is the ultimate feedneck available for the spyder and at 21 bucks at county paintball you cant go wrong.

Strengths: Perfect Fit, Strong, Lower Hopper Height, 100% Better Than Stock Plastic Elbow
Weaknesses: None
Review: This is the perfect elbow for any Spyder marker. It lowers the hopper a lot, which is always a plus. The elbow holds the hopper very tight so your hopper will not move and shake. The finish (I have the chrome one) is flawless, makes your marker look great (if that is important to you). Get this product, you won't regret it.
Conclusion: Get this product right now. Enough Said.

None, except the one that comes with spyders.
Marker Setup: Spyder Imagine, 14" whisper, evo2, two 20oz co2, stock barrel(not very good), super fly bolt.
Strengths: Three scews hold it in place. Hold the hopper well. Low profile.
Weaknesses: It has come off the gun(see below)
Review: I put this on my Imagine because the neck that came on the gun was plastic and could break easy. It was working very well at holding the hopper in the gun. But during one battle the neck came loose from the gun, not the hopper came out, it came loose from the screws to the gun. So I held it on and finished the battle. I came back, tightened it on and went back out. The very next battle it happened again.(as you can imagine I wasn't happy). My friend and I came to the conclusion that it was the co2 blowing up into the hopper(we still aren't sure if that's what happened or not). Since then I have kept my hopper about half full or better and haven't had a problem.

(EDIT) I found out that this feedneck is designed for guns with very little blow-back, so don't bother to bu this for a gun with a lot of blow-back like spyders or tippmans they got to much blow. But for a autococker, angel or bob long it would be great.
Conclusion: Lots of blow-back and this will ruin the neck of your gun. Get something with less blow-back for this. It has poor design when it comes to blow-back

Strengths: -Easy to use

-Compact
Weaknesses: -Flimsy
-Hard to screw on
Review: I bought this feedneck for my spyder just for the heck of it. It came from a well-known company, also. It was a major improvement over the stock feedneck with elbow. It is very easy to use, just put on hopper and tighten up the knob. It clamps on, but if you screw it on too tight, it is very hard to get your hopper off. It also sits your hopper about an inch or so down. The stuff it is made out of , however, is very unsturdy. Just doesn't feel very strong. And when you are screwing it onto your gun, it is hard to get an angle that allows you to screw it on easily.
Conclusion: Get this if you have broken your stock, or are in need of a clamping feedneck. Can hold halos and eggs with no problems, also.

Strengths: Clamps
Looks Good
Strong
Lowers Profile
Weaknesses: The clamping design (could be good or bad, see review)
Review: Overall it is a good feedneck, it is clamping so it holds the loader on well... the clamping design is a twist lock, which is good and bad. first the good, it is quick, it clamps, and it requires no tools. now the bad, it tends to come loose, especially on blowbacks where there is a good amount of kick.

The feedneck is really strong, it looks good on some spyders, and some it doesnt. It lowers profile, a lot lower than those stock plastic feednecks. It is good to buy a $25+ feedneck now than have to replace loader shells and plastic feednecks.
Conclusion: over all very good, though I would choose a CCM or NDZ over it because they clamp much tighter. so for that i give a 9/10

Review: This product is well worth your money. The price for this is cheap ($20-$40) and the looks are astounding. This product is very durable. My friend dropped it and it stood strong. This product holds your hopper tightly and snug.

*EDIT*

I got an egg and this thing holds it great!
Conclusion: I definitively recommend this product to anyone! Especially those that are sick of those plastic crap.
