Our bolts have Larger input and output holes so your air will never be restricted. This inturn allows for more air to flow to the paintball, rather than being blown up and through the feedneck. Increasing the flow of air to the paintball means you can reduce the time of the valve. Improving the number of shots you get from your tank.
With our 30 degree Angled Intake it gives better flow rates and smoother direction. Meaning lower pressures needed to propel the paint since no air is wasted going away from the ball. It results in a more laminar flow that is as easy on paint as any venturi design.
Our bolts have a concave wide-open face. This allows for maximum air expansion around the face of the bolt and onto the ball. Thus Reduces ball breaks by redirecting the air pressure over a larger surface area of the paintball.
Dark Vengence bolts have a large open face, allowing your air to propel freely from the valve to the ball uninterrupted, unlike the venturi bolts where it constricts the flow of air to the paintball.
Last of all, and the best The Delrin surface is self-lubricating, this means greater protection from scratches on the inside of your main body, and no oiling of the bolt whatsoever.

Review:
I gave the bolt the benefit of the doubt and tried it several times. Even tried it with different paint. Always the same result... 1 shot = 1 chopped ball. Oh yeah, the sharp edges....they chop off the ball detent as well. I had to replace 5 or 6 of those after each shot. Do not buy this bolt for your fish, it does not work . Prior to buying it on ebay, I emailed a bunch of people who bought this bolt and they all had good things to say...the only problem was, they all owned autocockers. So in conclusion, this may be a good bolt for an autococker, but if you own a piranha...look somewhere else.
Conclusion:
this bolt is not a good upgrade for a piranha, sharp edges kill paint and no detent groove eats up your ball detents.

None: but their regular Piranha bolts don't have o-ring grooves.
Review:
The bolt has performed exactly the way it's supposed to, very happy with it. This bolt was a slightly modified version of what is pictured here because I requested o-ring grooves when I ordered mine, Dark Vengence did an excellent job. I didn't get to play much before the winter so I saved the review until now, made sure the bolt held up. This bolt was purchased to aid in the process of lowering my operating pressure, and it has fit in with this goal very nicely. I never tried this bolt without the o-rings yet so I can't comment on that, but using it with a blow-back I don't see why you would. Oh ya you get a DV sticker with the bolt too, not that anyone should care but some really like stickers. This bolt comes at a great price also
Conclusion:
I recommend this bolt very highly, it has performed excellent. DV has good customer service and were very accommodating with my request for a custom bolt.
