This mounting kit came with my reg and it looks good and performs as expected the bolts are small and a pain to get started if you have large hands and mine seems a little small for the reg itself but holds just fine.I accidently over tightened mine and it bent slightly but is still functional.The good is it mounts on the bottom of your marker and replaces the ASA so there is no need to figure out where to place it.Installation is simple and easy even a monkey could do it,it only took a few seconds to mount.Overall a great product.
Conclusion:
I have to give it an eight since it bent easy(with really little effort on the allen wrench) other than that its a good(not great) product(can't complain mine was free with my reg)

Review:
This product is basically a modified scope mount. I purchased it for use with a female Palmer Stabilizer on my Custom 98. The largest advantage to mounting the stab. on the gun in my opinion is that the gas is regulated 6-8 inches from the marker as opposed to 40 inches down a remote line. Co2 will warm or cool and expand or contract in the 40 inches creating velocity spikes.
The largest advantage of this particular mounting kit it that it allows for use of a guage. That is why I purchased thie kit. The block kit looks much sturdier, but does not allow for a guage to be used.
The disadvantages are that it is a little in the small side. Is you fell running really hard (i do mean really hard) and the stabilizer broke your fall I think this kit would bend or break. The block kit appears that it would not. Also the screws that accompany it can be a little pain it the butt trying to get started sometimes.
Conclusion:
Those aside I still think that this kit is the better of the two mounting kits. The only setup I would rather have would be to have a female on the bottle fed into a remote line , which feeds into another Palmer Stabilizer mounted on the marker. Snoogans.
