Looks- Very nice, especially in black. Looks simple from faraway, but complex up close. Very easy to clean paint off of too.
Reliability- Hybrid makes quality parts, and it comes with a lifetime warranty, so your set.
Maintenance- Just clean and lube. The lifetime Warranty includes servicing, so just send it in to Hybrid for free if it ever needs to be re-timed.
Speed- 10+ bps is SCREAMIN’ for a Mech.
Stock Barrel- Comes with a PHAT barrel, which is all you can ask for in a stock barrel.
Overall feel- Solid feel that makes you not be able to set it down.
Consistency- Comes with a great reg, which means it’s very consistent over the chrono.
Kick- Stock parts are very light, so it does not have a lot of kick. (Little Kick+Consistency+Good Paint to Barrel Match=Accuracy)
Balance- Can balance it on my finger.
Service- All there is to say is Lifetime Warranty
Upgrades- Tons for autocockers, but you don’t really need them unless you plan to go electro.
Efficiency- All autocockers are very efficient if set up right.
Trigger adjustability- Pre and Post Travel Adjustments
Triggers- Pre and Post travel Adjustment, combined with a nice 3-way, equals a very short and light pull.
Weight- THIS IS THE LIGHTEST AUTOCOCKER I HAVE EVER FELT
.
Conclusion:
IMO, THIS IS THE BEST MECHANICAL AUTOCOCKER you can buy for the money. I suggest you go out and buy one right now if you want an autococker. You will need to buy nothing for it, and you have a quality company to back you up.
03 vertical cockers, i have tried, but this is the only autococker i have ever owned.
Marker Setup:
stock evil omen
Recommended Upgrades:
high pressure air because the reg wasn't very consistant
Strengths:
extremely accurate, also lifetime warrenty
Weaknesses:
1) not very fast
2) gas hog
3) expensive
Review:
first of all, this isn't even a real autococker... it's a knock off. with that being said, it would be very hard to find upgrades for it or repairs. i know it has a lifetime warrenty, but mine didn't because i bought it on ebay and didn't have a receipt of sale. second of all it was built kind of shoddily. my reg would screw in and out, and i had to take it off and put teflon tape to keep it still. (this is out of the box). the triggure pull was a little long and when i shot fast, i would double feed. (you know, when you don't pull all the way back and nothing comes out but the next shot 2 balls come out...)
accuracy? wow, this thing was extremely accurate. i guess i cant rag on it too much, because it wasn't THAT slow, but it wasn't that fast either. also, i had a problem with my quick release pin FLYING OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME! (several times... i had to fight with it to get it to stick)
did i mention it's a GAS HOG!!! it would burn a whole 88cc 4500 tank in 750 shots! (you are supposed to get about 15 shots per cc, so it should be around 1320 shots
well it's not so bad of a gun... although it is pretty expensive. $425??? damn, you could buy so many better guns for that same price.
Conclusion:
so i guess it's an above average gun at best, but you could do so much better for the same price. i would take an 03 cocker any day over this and it's almost half the price.
i bought my rival, played with it for 2 weeks and then sold it on ebay, because it wasn't what i expected, but i like electronic guns... like my new omen!! :0) (shameless plug)
I've only had this marker less then a month and it has already impressed the hell out of me. First of all it is a very nice looking piece of equipment. The milling on it is very cool. Second it's very light. VERY light! I was impressed when I compared it to my buddies Shocker and found it just as heavy. Shockers are supposed to be some of the lightest markers on the market! The 03's that is.
Third, it was VERY accurate. I was hitting ball on ball at 60 feet. That was impressive. It also had little to no kick which made it easy to keep on target during rapid fire.
Rapid fire is nice with the mechanical marker. Only gripe I have is that the trigger pull is a little heavy which makes it hard to walk it. I was still able to get about 10bps. But in my opinion the accuracy is more important then the speed. Doesn't matter if you can put 20bps out at a player if you can nail him in 2 shots.
There customer service down at the company is great too! I've had to email them reguarding a question and they replyed within the day.
Nice thing about this marker is it is upgraded right from the box. There is no need to put anymore money into it right away. That's what sold me! Sure the 04' WGP cockers look nice too but for 50$ more I could walk out of the store with an almost custom cocker that could out perform them. That's worth the difference in price right there!
Also, it's an auto cocker. You can take advantage of pretty close to all the aftermarket parts out there. Maybe even an Eblade or Worr Blade????
Conclusion:
IMHO I believe this marker is a great deal! Hybrid has shown that they are for real and are out to make a great product at competive prices. Good job guys!

Review:
When i first recieved this autococker, the timing was off, but that's common because most cockers aren't timed very well when they ship it off. So i had to time it, but everythign was fine except the cocking rod's distance from the back block. Their was a small leak coming from the bottom of my regulator, but it was because the allen at the bottom was too loose. The velocity was low and i had a hard time adjusting it to get higher. But i found out the problem thanks to the good people at www.ottersccustoms.com www.paintballforum.com www.cockerownersgroup.com www.cockertech.com www.air-powered.com. When everythign was in working condition i bought a new drop forward because i'm a front player and i need to be able to snap shoot. If the gun is too heavy on one side then the shots going to be off. So the mini drop was able to balance everything out. I was almost not allowed to go into my local field because the gun didnt have a safety. But you can buy an on-off valve for that. I just used my barrel condom alot. The worst part about this gun is when i was playing, i dove into the snake and my revvy spun around. So i suggest getting a new feed neck like a hybrid hedlock. In my games, the marker shot very well, it's very fast for a mechanical cocker and definetly outperformed my friends 03 and my other friends 04.
Conclusion:
This is a great cocker. It outperformed my friends 03 and 04 vert. It shot very well, I only had to fix my gun on the field once. So i recommend this cocker to everybody who wants one.
