Planet Eclipse Fangz feature a Two piece design which means you can take the ADB apart in seconds for repairs or to clean. Rubber Fang holds the ball in place so no sticky ball bearings. Planet Eclipse have had these on test for nearly a year and the ADB hasn't needed to be replaced once !! They even give you a spare rubber JUST IN CASE !

Strengths:
Very easy to clean. works great, wont wear down, look great.
Weaknesses:
Will not work with a halo.
Review:
This detent is great as long as you dont use a halo loader. you can finger twist the cap off for easy cleaning and the rubber nub will last forever ( if not a second is included). It also comes with 3 different jewels (red, blue, and black) so you can match your gun. Rubber nub wont scratch your bolt.
Looks cool
Doesn't wear down bolt
Easy to fix
Has 3 different jewels
Weaknesses:
**Edit** recently bought a halo and this detent holds fine
Review:
I got this detent because my stock metal detent was digging a nice groove in my bolt. This detent is sweet. It works great on any loader except a halo, doesn't wear out, and it makes the gun look nicer. People who want a detent that doesn't wear down the bolt should get this one.
**EDIT**
I recently bought a halo b and this detent has not double fed at all yet. I have had no problems with the halo pushing balls through it or anything.
Conclusion:
For $15 most places, this is one upgrade you will enver have to upgrade or fix. It is very low maintenence and easy to install. Anyone with a cocker should get one.

Yea, this detent might work well with a agitaiting or gravity fed hopper, but it will not work at all with a halo. it doulbe feeds like crazy. why would somebody make a product that can only be made for a certain type of hoppers. if you going to make a detent, should it work with halos and everything else? what is teh reason for not making it work with the most populat hopper ever created. thats just rediculous. however it looks great, and re buildable....those are the only pluses.
Conclusion:
This detent really doesnt do much. unless you use a revy dont get it. get a ball detent, you will be happier.

Pro's
This detent is far more superior than the traditional ball detents. The ball detents tend to get stuff stuck in there, and cause problems. If you have a metal bolt, and a metal ball detent, you're going to be having deformities after a few cases of paint has gone through the marker. With the fang detent, you won't have to worry about that. The rubber fang would never damage your bolt, and it lasts a very long time. It's fully serviceable, and is cheap to replace the fang if it should wear out. My marker has cycled more than 15k times, and the fang is still holding up like new.
Con's
Dues to that it's rubber, the fang wedges in between the bolt and the body. When this happens, the bolt has a little more friction than normal when it needs to be cocked back. A little grease on the side of the bolt would fix this. You could also cut a groove on the bolt that would allow the fang to slip in to eliminate this minor issue. It's not noticeable at all when the marker is aired up, only for those that are looking for the ultimate smoothness in bolt action.
Conclusion:
Great product from Planet Eclipse at a great price. With this detent, it's one less thing I have to service on my marker.
