The bolt gets it's name from just that, the spinal column. The Spinal I lacked a lug access hole, and the ring and groove combinations gave it the appearance of a spinal column. Super smooth and much lighter than aluminum.

The 3DS Paintball Spinal II Bolt is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.
