Replaces the standart single or dual reg housing for the Intimidator. Evil claims that this ASA helps the air flow with a much larger air reserve, improving shot to shot consistency.
Product Availability
The Evil ASA is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

cp inline
Strengths: Easy install
ENORMOUS air chamber
Much bigger HPR inlet and lpr inlet
Internal barb
Weaknesses: Would be nice if it came in other colors
Review: This front block is just like the alias/empire but with a couple of improvments bigger air inlets on hpr and lpr side and the barb is located in the block which keeps the barb out of the way when disassembling for maintenance

Can run a substnatially lower pressure w/o shootdown and when combined with the kapp ram you have one smooth shooting timmy

Its a great alternative to those of us who don't want to use a long ugly volumizer
Conclusion: It does what it advertises and it does it well so i give it a 10, considering most products don't meet their claims.

Strengths: Looks good... good setup for barb.
Weaknesses: Refer to body
Review: first the gauge isnt a very well picked gauge for fine tuning your lpr. the measurements are by hundreds, so your basically trying to guess your pressure (i replaced this gauge with my stock ashcroft gauge)

second, the ofset of the barb didnt fit right with my clamshell (50-50), so i had to file down the hole for the hose to make it fit, because it was bending the hose and pinching/cutting it.

The next thing i found was that it started causing a lpr spike in pressure, which then lead to blowing my lpr teflon seal/pin valve base oring.

so after replacing those which i thought would fix the problem, the problem only got worse. i couldnt change the lpr pressure at all, it just carried over the pressure from the hpr.

after trying to fix it/make it work for about 3 months, and contacting multiple tech support sites, i just decided it wasnt worth my trouble and i replaced it with another stock one, which worked fine.

so it caused me to buy:

new all around orings
new reg pistons
new barb set
new volumizer

so now the volumizer and reg body are sitting on my dresser collecting dust... anyone want to buy them?
Conclusion: I wouldnt recommend this product at all, i would recommend staying with your stock reg body. this is not worth the trouble at all, much less the $50-$60 it costs.

if you want to take the chance that you will have to modify your gun highly and have the reg still not work, go for it.

i rate this a 3 because:

1. it looks good (not that it helps performance)
2. the barb desing is good, and might influence future reg bodies.
3. it might work with other guns, but definately not mine/any like mine.

Strengths: THE BARB IS IN THE ACTUL LPR HOUSING SO NO BARB BREAKS!!!
bigger air reserve
Weaknesses: Had to get new set screw but it was easy.
Review: this evil lpr housing is really nice it has nice milling and design on it so it made my 2k2 real nice. Another nice design is that the barb is in the lpr so that means it cant break and is out of the way probably what i love most about this product. Also it is pretty cheap and well worth every penny but i had to find a new screw to use a set screw to use in it but no biggy since i have like 1000 screws anyway.
Conclusion: I like it and would recomend it to anyone looking for some bang for your buck.

I have used stock 2k2 reg.
Marker Setup: Right now I have a Custom built Timmy, with black to red fade body and trigger frame.. 2k5 Bob Long Regulator, CP Volumizer, CP Roller Trigger, Dragon Trigger Guard, WAS 2.8 w/LCD, Lasoya LPR, Evil ASA.
Strengths: Large air reserve, so makes the need for Volumizer very low.
Weaknesses: Permanent Barb
Review: This ASA looks really good on the gun, but there are a couple different problems that hurt this ASA. First of all the guage that comes with the ASA sux, it's better to take the guage off of your stock ASA and place it on this new ASA. The other problem is that the alignment of the barb makes it very hard to get on certain types of timmies. And lasty the barb is crap, I hate the permanent stubby barb it sux, the hose always falls off cause it isn't good at all. It would be much nicer if they allowed you to change out the barb, and but in a hybrid barb instead.
Conclusion: I wouldn't recommend this prodcut because it is a waste of money. The barb sux and you will have a hard time keeping the hose on the barb.

Strengths: Recesed Bar, Milling looks good, bigger air passages.
Weaknesses: The gauge broke when I aired up my gun.
Review: This product looked great and I noticed the air passages are way bigger then the stock asa. It was pretty easy to install. The asa block I got was not like the ones in the pictures I have seen on the evil website. The barb is completly recessed into the asa. Anno was great on it but one little thing that kind of gets on my nerves is the Jewel is crooked on the front. Also the third time it was used the gauge broke. Other the that this thing is awsome.
Conclusion: Good investment but for $52 I think they could spent a little more time on it and put a better gauge on there. so it gets a 6
