I originally got this product to test for my boss to see if we should carry it in our store. I am keeping it on my gun from now on.
Pro's
Efficiency - I went from one pod and an Egg with 1000 PSI to 2 pods and and Egg with 1000 PSI. For those that are slow at math, thats an increase of 630 balls on a full fill over my old setup. I chrono'd in at my store at 280 with the old ram, I jumped to the mid 340's with this ram.
Speed - When I went to the field, I put my gun on Debounce 1 and went to the red chrono. I tested it with the old ram, and the max I could get was 23 bps. I put this in, and it jumped to 28 bps. Not that I would use D1 in a game, but the lowered cycling time and an increased max balls/cycles per second is a plus in my book.
No Kick - Just to see what it would do, I put my LPR at 100 to see if there would be any kick.....nope, none at all, which is pretty cool (and for those who are like "dude, you'll blow your noid running it at 100 psi" all I have to say is that the solenoid is rated up to 120 before the pressure release valve is engaged). Anyway, I lowered it back down to 75 psi.
Con's
Leaks - I followed the instructions on the Evil site for the install to make sure I would do it correctly (as I do with any new product even if I know an easier way to install it, or at least think I know). I took the o-rings off the ram, and let them sit in grease overnight. I then I put the o-rings back on the ram, and the ram in my gun. It leaked. I was like "ok," and I further followed the instructions on the site and replaced the o-rings that came with the ram with the o-rings on my stock ram. No more leaks. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I would say buy it, and don't be discouraged by what some people say. What doesn't work for them may work for you. |

| Review: |
I put on this ram and never went back. I got almost 50% more shots-per-tank with this ram, and with all my other upgrades I run 50 psi over 180 psi and shoot a consistent 295 as fast as an Empire B will feed. The O-Rings wear out less often than a stock Ram due to the sleeve-action design of the Punch. The ram can't wiggle around and therefore moved with more precision increasing speed and efficiency. I honestly can't think of anything bad about it. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
The only thing I would advise is to buy this product, and check take good care of your o-rings. One thing I doubt anyone knows, the ram end that inserts into the ram cap sleeve can get a bit sticky at times with old lube and debris, causing the ram to slow in operation until cleaned and lubed (if desired) |

| Review: |
I installed this on my Classic Timmy and have been very happy with the results. I first lubed the o-rings on the Evil Punch ram with Dow 55 and let them sit for several days before installing them on the ram and placing the assembly in my marker. The instructions (downloaded from the internet) say to let them sit overnight but I like to give the Dow 55 time to swell the o-rings. Once installed, I aired up the marker and adjusted the ram stop and dry fired the marker while checking for leaks. The product performed great and had no air leaks. After shooting several cases of paint I noticed about a 30% decrease in air usage over the stock ram with no performance problems. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I would highly recommend this to anyone due to its decrease in air consumption usage and flawless, smooth performance. |

When I put it in my gun it leaked. |

| Review: |
When I got the punch kit in the mail I put in in my gun and it leaked. I took it out greased with
dow 55 and put it back in. Still leaked, so I replaced o-rings with ones on stock ram, greased them and it worked fine.
I took it out to my back yard to test and there was barely any kick at all, almost zero kick. I was also able to shoot almost 500 paintballs with 1000 psi.
The only down side is it comes with its own end cap and it is really long, so it looks kinda ugly. also i had to ditch my adjustable end cap that I spent $20 for. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
It is great and i recommend it to anyone. I only gave it a nine because it looks kinda weird. Otherwise a great product |
