The SideKick holster is made of strong water resistant anti-scratch nylon. It features a belt clip and adjustable strap to secure the gun in the holster. This strap can be removed if in the way for quick drawing. The holster comes in camo and black and can be used left or right handed. It has a padded interior designed for years of life. This is not just another cloth holster.

I ordered a black belt holster when I got my Sidekick. It's made of durable material, has belt loops on either side so you can put it facing any direction you want ( I prefer behind the back and reversedfor right-hand drawing) and it has an adjustable strap to hold the pistol in. The holster keeps a nice, low profile, just like the SKS itself...oh yeah, it's not just flimsy nylon material, but actually has some stiff panels to it to protect your baby. It has a hole in the front so the 10 rd tube can stick out ( I don't have that problem anymore ;)
One thing that should probably be noted is that if you've lost your stock tiny barrel plug, it would be a good idea to dremel out another tiny one, because the holster won't work with a large plug.
Conclusion:
Basically necessary unless you want to stick your Sidekick in your waistband. I sort of wish I had gotten the shoulder holster instead, but I didn't have the extra $25 at the time. Oh well, this is still a great product, much like the Sidekick itself.
A 10 because it does what it's supposed to do, and it does it perfectly.
