I own Species timmy and I have used it's stock bolt, a shochtech bolt, a check it products bolt, and this kill stick bolt.
Marker Setup:
2 Species Timmy 1 with Shochtech and one with KillStick
2 70 Stubby Crossfire LP and HP
2 Cases of Chronic
2 J and J kits
2 Hybrid Bumperless Ram Caps
Strengths:
Price
Style
Accurate
O-rings
Weaknesses:
Have to put ball in yourself and loctite it.
Review:
The bolt is a great bolt and in my opinion was better than my friends shochtech. I mean this test was mostly the same except bolt and ram. The ram was great also! I thought this bolt might have been a waste of money but I was wrong it wasn't. It was a great buy and even at 30$ it would still save you money for more paint or w/e you need. I would tell people to save the money andget this bolt instead of a overpriced bolt that preforms the same. Shoch tech is a nice bolt but for the price this is a better buy. The bolt has slighty bigger o-rings that makes a great seal and lowered my lpr pressure which reduced a slight kick in my gun which i got to run on debounce 1 again. Has very very very low drag with a little bit of tri-flow.
Conclusion:
The bolt is great! For the price it's a super great! 10 all the way. They should fix where the user does not need to provide the ball but other rise were ok. 10!
I have used the Shocktech and the Hybrid ITB2 System, and compared to the RMR Killstick, RMR is the better performer.
Marker Setup:
2k2 Intimidator - WAS2.6 - Killstick Bolt with spike - high flow barbs - WAS trigger switch - reverse magnetic trigger - Halo B - 68/4500 Pure Energy.
Strengths:
The main strength is the weight, it is a few grams lighter then stock.
Weaknesses:
None - but the spike pin is heavy.
Review:
The RMR Killstick is a high quality bolt that i think is one of the best on the market. Its the lightest compared to the ITB2 and the shocktech. The ribbing on the bolt contributes to its light weight and the lessend weight means almost no kick/recoil, better consistancy, although Intimidators already have almost no kick/recoil - so with this bolt it virtually eliminates that effect. The quality is top notch, and the cool Gattlin Gun back is eye catching. The front and dual middle O-rings keep a good seal, the black color eliminates false eye readings, and its ultra-smooth delrin finish helps with efficent fast actuation. I purchased the bolt with the spike pull-pin, the weight of the Spikepin is a bit heavier than stock. I saw very little differance between using the stock pin and the Spike pin with the kill stick, but i know that that extra weight on your ram will effect consistancy and how hard the ram is hitting the valve. Other than that the Killstick is the best i have used. Lightest of them all which means its faster and more efficient not to mention the price. I purchased mine online for 24$.
Conclusion:
If you want a good, lightweight, high quality, fast, and good looking bolt the RMR Killstick is perfect. Although RMR is fairly new to paintball they know exactly what the players need and im sure you will see most of RMRs upgrade parts on Proguns soon. The killstick is built by player for players so check them out. i think i will try their RAM next.
Storm Timmy, WAS 2.7, WAS eyes, Tomahawk eye covers, Hybrid volumizer, RMR Killstick Bolt w/Spike pullpin, RMR Ramrod ram, RMR adjustable locking ram cap, Egg II, 16 inch Empire 7 piece barrel kit, Check-it Unimount, Centerflag Hyperflow 68 4500
Strengths:
Precision cut delrin makes a perfect fit, oversize orings boost efficiency with no extra drag.
Weaknesses:
None
Review:
Awesome quality and upped performance is what to expect from the rmr bolt. i like it better than the shocktech because the my fps actually dropped and consistency suffered with the supa fly bolt.
with the killstick and a couple drops of triflow, i noticed a 7-9 fps improvement over the stock bolt at the same pressure. hands down better efficiency and consistency at the chrono.
Conclusion:
You can't go wrong with any of RMR's products.........
03 cocker no part of the gun is stock besides the frame its the best and i got the palmers pum and up'd empire
Strengths:
Delrin-black- looks cool- everything
Weaknesses:
Hahaha right
