| Review: |
Wow out of the box this thing is a beautiful. It has sweet milling and nice anodizing. The stock barrel it comes with is nice and has porting holes, but it only good with small bore size paint.
Now on to performance. The day after I got it I went paintballing. After i adjusted the velocity I was unstopable. This gun is so acurate and really fast for a mechanical autococker. I can get 7-10 BPS! The acuracy is unbelievable the balls were landing on top of eachother and I got a bunch of 1 shot--1 kill's, which shows how acurate the gun is! The first time I shot it I fell in love with how the back block moves so quickly and quietly.
When I had to clean the gun, it was a snap! All you have to do is pull the pin on the back of the bolt slide the bult out and pull a squeegy through (make sure when you put the bolt back in the hole is on the bottom.
|
 |
| Conclusion: |
Buy this autococker, you will be so glad you did!!! Now here are a few recomendations for people who are goin to buy the 2004 Autococker.
-Buy small bore-sized paint if you plan on keeping the stock barrel.
-Buy the Freak Barrel Kit so it just doesn't matter what kind of paint you buy and so your autococker will be even more acurate!
-Always bring the allen wrench that comes with gun, it to adjust the velocity
-Get the Revolution hopper, it fits perfectly in the feedneck and is fast enough for the gun
-Make sure you pull the trigger all the way back and let go all the way so you don't chop paint.
-Have fun with your new Autococker and LETR RIP!!! |

| Review: |
This gun is by far the most accurate gun that i've ever shot, its sooooooo much better that a System X will ever be EVER!! if you are caught in a situation choosing between guns, take it from me, i researched guns for weeks (i wanted a cocker) and the System X cockers looked ok and i had heard that the WGP's were the best. and after readin the system x's reviews, i was p/oed so that night ordered it and came it 2 days. I couldn't have been happier, the WGP Autococker owns all man! it camed timed and everything. I just went in my back yard and ripped. Never have chopped a ball after like 2000 rounds and abunch of rapid firing. The closed bolt system of the WGP Cocker is like haveing a sensi or anti-chop eye on a open bolt gun. They look better in my opinion than the 2003's because of the different pneumanics. once you go WGP you never go back, trust me. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This gun is great, stock, it is fast enough to take on pretty much any high end electro and when you start to upgrade it, wow, just forget it. You will be in no way at all be dissapointed i buying this gun. |

| Review: |
Wow. Thats all I have to say. After using so many blowback markers and then gettin an autococker the kick is so much less, the BPS might be lower then an electro spyder but have u ever seen someone try to walk an e-spyder? No, the barrel will be pointing up at the sky by the time they are finished. The cocker has NO kick, I can unload a full loader without moving off target.
The stock barrel is great. The BEST stock I've ever seen. The first time I shoot it I noticed that it shot high. After a few shots I adjusted to it and now I can rip fast and accuratly.
Gun is ready to go out of the box. I wouldnt recommend running co2 on this gun. An HPA tank is a must! Electronic loader isnt needed to much but this gun is so sexy I can't stand it going without one and I had one before so I was ready to rock.
If you really wanna pimp out this gun this is what I suggest...

 |
| Conclusion: |
Autocockers are great guns. If you plan on buying one make sure you have researched them and that you know all about timing and maintence. Ask your local shop about them and they can most likely give you a free tech lesson but you should atleast know what all the parts are called first. I give it a 10 since I've had no problems so far. Great gun go out and buy it!! |

| Review: |
I bought this gun a few weeks ago becasue i was getting into a tourny, and i desperately needed a new gun, I was shooting an electro spyder (now my backup, set-up is above) and it wasnt cutting it, i went out and got a new barrel to match my field paint perfectly and i still could not get the accuracy i wanted. So, i went out and picked up my vert 04. And i am so glad i did!!!!!!! well, he's alittle break donw on the strengths and weaknesses i listed...
--STRENGTHS--
ACCURACY-
This is the reason i bought this gun. Good paint to barrel match along with a closed bolt operation and great consistantcy this gun is ball on ball. (im not trying to start a flame war on closed vs open bolt, but, there is something about that gun that delivers great accuracy over any blow-back ive used, and many other open bolt guns.) This gun gives me the ability to hit that hopper or elbow hangin out from across the field....that is somthing i had trouble with using my previous lower-end guns. (and, even some higher end guns too)
This gun is just straight up accurate..
LOOK AND FEEL
This isnt much of a performance thing, but i still say its always nice to have a good looking gun. The 2004 vert cockers look great. They have some nice looking milling along with a nice anno job Also, the new pnuems. look alottle better than the old brass ones in previous years. . And....you gotta love that back block!!!!! They are also pretty quiet, there are quieter guns of course, but these dont sound like a hand cannon like some others do.
CONSISTANCY
Not much to say here, the gun is just consistant, once the reg is alittle broke in, the consistantcy is great, i get around 6+/- over the chrono. Thats pretty damn good for a stock reg. (im runnig HPA of course, i dont know about the consistancy with Co2)
SPEED FOR STOCK MECH
This gun is not Extrememly fast like the electros out there...(duh) But out of the box the its pull is pretty short (could be shorter) but is good enough. After learning how to shoot fast and not short stroke you could prolly pull around 8 or 9 bps.
GAS USEAGE
This gun also does pretty good on gas, i have 72/3000 and get around 800-850 shots on a fill. Thats good enough for me.
The only weakness that comes across my mind is that the gun is alittle complex at first. Id recommend reading up on them alot before buying one. (learn about timing and the basics of maintaining an autococker.) I know alot of guys that know alot about cockers at my field and they tought me quite a bit. If you know some who knows alot about them talk to them before buying one. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Overall a great gun at a affordable price to most people. You can prolly pick one up new for around 350. I say if your looking into getting a autococker pick this up. I am so glad i did. |

| Review: |
Well... there's not much more that I can say, besides- THIS GUN IS AMAZING! It is a great price and from a reliable company. I will have to say, I didn't really think that autocockers were so much more accurate than other guns until I bought this one. This thing puts ball on top of ball. It's very hard to shortstroke with this marker, and I have had no problems so far. If you like taking things apart, I will have to say this gun is pretty simple. That's about all I can say! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
This gun is amazing for the price. It may not keep up with the very high end markers (Karnivors, DM4s, Angels, etc.), but it is an extremely well designed piece of equipment.
I'd say- buy it. |

| Review: |
The gun is perfect when it comes to tournament play, it's all you'll ever need, its perfect for a small front player. The only problems i've ever had with this gun is during the winter, I come out to play and i have balls busting like crazy, im shortstroking, losing pressure on shots, hoses blowing off, it's crazy. I'd deffinitely recommend getting nitro if you plan on playing in the winter wiht this gun. In the summer on the other hang my gun is problem free. Perfect accuracy, air efficient, owns the field. This gun is a hella deal for the price and you plan on starting in tournaments. NICE GUN :) |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Its a steal for the price, recommend to any player starting in tournaments. Nitro a big help. |

| Review: |
I have to say that out of the box I was very pleased with the overall feel and look of my new marker. I have seen many a marker in this price range, and only a sparse few have that initial wow feel when you first open her up.
Price
At a fair price tag of $359.00 I have found that you are getting plenty of marker for your money. Yes, it doesn't come with fancy eyes, or software, or even top of the line internals, but what you have gotten is probably one of the greatest stock markers that money can buy that has a long path of after market upgrades! Many markers are priced within this price range, yet they don't offer the wide variety of aftermarket upgrades. It is much like buying a foundation for you marker. You build off what you have.
As of writing this review prices for the Prostock 04 have gone down, and if you look hard enough, and do your homework you can find the 05 Prostock for a very decent price. Yet then again, you would do this for any marker. A good price that doesn't break the bank!
Durability
It's much more durable than an expensive Angel, or a cheap priced Brass Eagle Talon. What does that mean? Well simply put with normal care, and regular maintenance it will work for as long as you own it. I have yet to find a kink in its armor, nor do I wish to. Yet it's durable enough to play hands down hard ball with.
Function
Out of the box the 04/05 Prostock comes timed and ready for play. With a little time spent reading the instructions, and perhaps the new DVD that is provided with some of the newer WGP line markers, you will have a firm grasp on the operation of you prostock.
After timing my marker, and setting the velocity I found that it was a great marker indeed. My velocity would range between +2, -2 at the chronograph. Adjusting the velocity I will admit was a bit of a pain. Having to remove the cocking rod to adjust makes it a little slower at the chronograph than some other markers out there. Yet once adjusted there is no chance of accidental slippage.
Once on the field I found that she shot pretty accurate with the stock Karner barrel, and was decent on gas efficiency. I went through about 2000 rounds of paint, and not once did the marker fail to perform its duties. No broken parts, no shoot down, no velocity spikes, no problems with the 3-way, nor any problems of any kind. The speed for a stock mechanical marker this one did very, very well. You may have to train yourself on shooting fast without short-stroking. Yet once you learn your opponent will not forget!
Maintenance
Pure and simple its fairly easy. I enjoyed that unlike many other markers there was no tens of o-rings, and small tiny parts that once dropped cause your heart rate to double. Just a mix of water and alcohol to clean the body, and a little lubricate for the bolt and you were in business.
Upgrade Path
I don't have the time to list them all, but to give an idea of how much and how far this marker can go I will list what I have done. First I upgraded the barrel to an Evil Pipe Kit. This allowed for better ball trajectory and accuracy. Next was the frame. An Eclipse E1 framed allowed me to take timing my marker from a manual stand point to an electronic one. No more worries about if I have it right. The E1 also allowed for a much fast rate of fire. Going from 3-7 BPS to 10-13 is a great improvement and a big difference in game.
There is so much that can be done with a stock Prostock, that there isn't enough room to list, and tell. Beaver tails, frames, triggers, barrels, 3-ways, rams, and bolts. Hundreds of after market parts for your choosing!
Milling
It's nice to see a company that takes the time to understand that along side function players like looks as well. There is no better feeling than having that ripping cocker, that also has the bad arse look. The milling on this marker is great. One of the features that draws you to it. WGP has done an excellent job here. trust me. Once you have upgraded your marker, other players will notice! |
 |
| Conclusion: |
A great marker for anyone whom is thinking about owning a cocker and wants to get their feet wet before going further with WGP products. Great marker in terms of customization, and milling. A marker with little to no flaws, priced at a reasonable tag!
No marker is perfect, but this comes very close. So a 9 it receives. When I find that fabled 10 rated marker, i'll have no need to buy another again. |

Well, I bought this gun because I had been recently using my cousins older 2k cocker. I loved it, it had everything over the old tippmann I'd been using, accuracy, speed, more accuracy, looks. I then started surfin around the web tryin to find somethin I could better sink my teeth into. Thats when I found the Prostock. The second I saw it I knew it was the gun for me, sleek aggresive milling, beautiful annodizing, and nickel plated EVERYTHING, just what I needed, a shiny, hyper egoed gun to go along with my own over-inflated ego :D So far this gun has worked nothing but miracles for me, I've nicknamed it 'Angel Slayer' to p!ss off the angel guys at my local field. All in all, GREAT gun, perfect stock, it can only get better, throw on a Worr Blade and a QEV'd ram and this thing will fling paint with the best of em. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I'm giving this gun a perfect score because it is perfect, even if mine didnt come with set screws, an isolated incident WGP tells me.
You want an honest answer? BUY THIS GUN NOW! You will not be dissapointed (provided you know how to work a cocker ;) |

| Review: |
Well when i first got this marker i was pretty happy with it...it was really smooth shooting with no blowback at all. It came timed..so that was good..i did have to re time it last week though but first time since ive had it. The reg is fairly consistant once you break it in. I like the new milling on this one..same design as the 03 but a few extra cuts basically. I did have a problem with my 3-way hose..it came torn but i dont think it was WGP's fault..most likely shipping problems or what ever..i fixed that in a jiff so it wasnt a big deal...3- way hasnt leaked on me yet so the pneumatics are good quality..i like the new nick ram and 3-way..better than the brass on the 03. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Good marker over all...If you want to make that step up into the world of high end markers than you should go with this..not the fastest mech but if you put an eblade on it.watch out this thing will rip it up big time. |

| Review: |
I would recommend this gun to anyone! beginners, or pros that is looking for a new gun
There is no doubt that this gun is accurate even if you're using co2 on a stock gun! unlike some other brands. (not gonna say who they are) where u can see the balls dropping or flying all over the place or shooting somewhere half a metter away from where you were aiming, this gun does not do that! I would have to say that this is the best gun for your money! Sure you might change the barrel and everypart in i (maybe even the body to make it look nice) but if ou don't have $2000 to build your own custom autococker start with this one! and change one piece at a time.
some people might not have that much money at a time and are trying to save up to get a top of the line gun i would say don't do that! buy this gun, and slowly work your way up, at least you have a good gun to play with while you're saving up for another upgrade! and if you do this at teh end you'll even have a back up gun!
If you're planning on upgrading this and asking yourself what you want to change in this gun, I would recommend changing evey part (kind of like building your own custom gun) but the most imporant parts to change first is the barrel the stock barrel isn't that great but still does it's job the gun is still accurate, but change it if you want it to be even more accurate and more quiet.
the only bad things about this is that to change velocity you have to unscrew the cocking rod then adjust it screw back in teh cocking rod est it and if it's not right you have to unscrew it again and do it over and over again that's kind of annoying and time comsuming. And another this is that this gun is heavy it's even heavier tehn a Tippman A-5! You have to take some time to time your autcockeronce in a while but i don't have a problem with that
pros:
- accurate
- no chops (used it for over a year and not a single chop thanks to teh double trigger stages)
- no blowback
- easy to clean!
cons:
- heavy
- changing velocity as i stated in the top
- timing the gun
If you are planning to upgrade it, this is the order i will do it in:
- if you're still running on co2, GET A HPA TANK! you'll notice a major difference!
- barrel get a kit, like dye ultralite, freak kit, or a evil pipe those are great barrels
- a good hopper, like a halo b or something like that
- nexus kit (get a HPA tank first!, the co2 will clogg up the delrin bolt)
- eletric trigger, racegun or the new E2 are both great! you gotta get his upgrade it just awesome! i can't even describe it.
These are the upgrades i would do for the gun but if you think that the stock one is good enough keep it that way, i personnally like my gun as accurate as it can be.
after those upgrades u can do whatever o your gun you want, like changing the body to make it look nicer and stuff liek taht but those are alwayz teh last thing on my list, performance over looks anyday =D
no offense to tippman owners but some people might think that a tipmann changed toa closed bolt witha flatline barrel can be compared to a autococker or an angel (i know i used to one of those guys until i brought this), it can't be compared! i had a tippmann 98 with flatline, closed bolt, and a RT and it was nothing comapre to this! and you spend double of what this gun is worth to get that, i would say it's definitly not worth it!
|
 |
| Conclusion: |
anyone who want a good gun but can'tafford a angel, impulse, matrix or a e-bladed autocoker get this first and work your way up there! BUY IT!! it's worth your money, every penny of it! |
