Introducing the must have Autococker product of the year. The MP-4 Ram from WGP is here. The MP-4 Ram incorporates a super smooth high-flow WGP Ram with built in TRV's. The result is a faster ram for Autocockers that shoot between 12 and 40 balls per second. With a smooth streamlined body style all the well-dressed cockers will be sporting one this season.

| Review: |
This is the first high-performance ram I have used (i.e. QEV/TRV equipped), so bear that in mind.
I ordered this ram for, in addition to its promised performance, its exclusivity and compact design. It delivered on these fronts. As of this writing they are still very rare items and the package is indeed much smaller and more elegant than rams with add-on exhaust valves. As far as I can tell it is made of aluminum, so it is quite light. It is shorter than most rams.
Installation is a snap because it has a lot of clearance with the straight end fitting and lack of protruding exhaust valves. Performance is good, very quick. The integrated TRVs vent large volumes of air as expected. WGP claims 40cps + capability and I have no reason to doubt that, however I would probably never want to run my LPR up high enough to really tax the upper limits of this ram's speed. At any rate this ram should fulfill any ROF need.
That said, the bore finish is not as smooth as some report Nexus and other rams to be -- the rod will not just fall back with gravity. Whether this has a significant effect on the performance of the ram, I don't know. I doubt much. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Overall a competent high-performance ram in a very elegant package. For me personally it rates a 9.5, round that to a 10. |

| Strengths: |
Built-In TRV/QEV's, Sleek, Same Size as a "Normal" Ram |
 |
| Weaknesses: |
Absolutley Nothing |
 |
| Review: |
This is an extremely efficient, and cost-effective" way, to improve your ROF (Rate of Fire). The TRV/QEV's (Turbo Relief Valve / Quick Exhaust Valve) quickly dispenses all excess gas from the ram, thus providing a faster cycle. The removal of this "Back-Pressure" greatly improves your marker's performance. WGP integrated the TRV's into the ram itself, and that is incredible by itself. The ram is the same size as the STO ram, but packs a whole lot more performance. Planet Eclipse makes a similiar product....but the QEV's are placed on the outside of the ram (one on each end). This makes it a bit bulky, and in some cases....the QEV's need to be milled down in order to fit onto the front block. |

| Conclusion: |
This is worth every penny. You can find it at www.paintballgateway.com for $50.00 plus shipping. |

| Review: |
I just had this bad boy installed on my Orracle. I don't have the numbers, but there is a noticable difference on how quickly it cycles! There is an instant change as soon as it was installed. Not bad for $60 or so!
This thing also looks much better than the other rams with QEVs installed on their own. Very sleek and stylish.

| Review: |
Like other reviewers of this ram, I had expectations for this ram to be the fastest ram in the world. Did it meet my expectations? Sort of. I mean, it's fast, but HOW MUCH FASTER when compared to other rams? Not so sure. However, let's say that when testing out my new e2 on my cocker, the ram did not have any apparent problems with keeping up. (Note the my cocker set-up isn't exactly the optimal set-up for speed!) I have been using this ram for some time now and I have not noticed any problems, both on and off the field. The air being blown out of the QEVs may freak out some inexperienced people, but it's nothing to worry about. Besides, in the summer, you can use it as air conditioning! haha
Due to the integrated QEVs, it has a nice clean solid look and doesn't take up a lot of space. This makes installation a breeze.
The only problems I have had with this ram, if any is 1) the price and 2) finding stores on-line that sell this item (found it on ebay once for $45). |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Bottomline: it's definitely faster than your avarage rams stock rams (STO rams, etc). But how much faster than the high end ones (eclipse rams), I really can't say. For $60 a ram, it may be too expensive for many players to swallow. However, if you are trying to build the ultimate custom cocker, this is one to consider.

The ram was not as fast as i had hoped |
 |
| Review: |
I bought this ram with high expectations of it, perhaps too high. It is almost identical to the nexus w/ QEV's however the one thing that I do like is the fact that the TRV's are combined with the ram and not protruding from it. It is very fast dont get me wrong but for some odd reason I thought that it would be faster. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I like this product. It is fast however almost identical to the nexus w/ QEV's in performance. The upside is its size due to the combined TRV's. It is a little pricey but so are most of the other high performance upgrades for autocockers. I would give it an 8.5 but no can do so i will just give it a 9. |

I have been playing with cockers for a long time and have never came across a ram capable of such speed and precision as this one i really praise the people that came up with this ram
it has been phenominal too the point were words cant really explain you really have too try it too believe it
the term 40 plus cycle rate is true with the e2 frame in sim mode and the dwells cranked down and the lpr cranked up and all the filters at min in the grip you can get a consistent 42 cycles per second at full stroke no problems
i really believe that it is capable of more but my noid is not
has lasted more than 50,000 cycles
regular lube has been very consistent
by far the best ram out there and fastest
starts too get warm after ramping at 23 bps for a while
hahahha to be expected
