The Fireball Mountain Spyder Bodies are older, so while they may be available used and in a few cases new, they are not commonly available anymore.

Review: I bought this body from a user here on PBreview since he was selling and it was in good condition. The body was great, it was a real looker at the fields and recieved all the complements.

Drilling for eyes, I found that the flat surface on the sides of the body allow for the easiest of mounting the eyes since there is little shimming needed, if so I used commonly found shims.

Tapping for eye covers was a different story. The body is soft compared to the stock body, so I had to take extra care when drilling and tapping since I could easily strip the threading that I was making.

The rear bolt area had some issues as well, but were easily overcome. The rear trigger frame screw was too long and would screw in too far, so that had to be shimmed as well. Not only that, but the quick strip pin was a little too short so I substitued in a cocker pin that seemed to fit well.
Conclusion: Overall a great buy if you are looking for the finishing touches on a spyder. But beware, when you buyt his be prepared to have a professional do the drilling and tapping if you are not absolutely sure on w hat you are doing,

I give it a 9 because it is for advanced users, looks great, and when properly done, it performances amazingly

Review: I just got this body in today and I thought I would do my rant while I am still a little angry.

When I first went to order an interesting body caught my eye. It was a gray razor with cocker threads for the barrel. At the time I had inquired about getting eyes installed and we were discussing payment methods. The responses were fast, but the body I wanted went off the market and they told me they must have sold it and they only had spyder threaded in stock. That was fine, but in the end I didn't need them to do the modifications. I thanked them for their help and made an order to be dropped shipped to ISP.

When ISP got the body the e-mailed me to let me know the body had some flaws. The anno was and is nearly flawless, but there is a noticeable blemish on the back. This didn't really bother me, but what did were the burs. I have found the remains of two of them. One in the breach, the other in the valve area. ISP fixed them because I was unable to get ahold of FBM (weeks to reply to my e-mails now that it is a complaint?). They did reply in the end, so I will order from them again. Don't plan on buying another spyder body though.

Now it made its way to me and I picked it up today. I went to put my CiP full force bolt in and it doesn't fit. The top tube of the body is a different size than the stock body, and do to its milling tore up the sides of my mint condition bolt.

I must admit that I am disappointed with the trouble it has caused, and I'm sure more will come as I use it, but it looks amazing. The milling on the back allows you to see the bolts internal movement. If you have a coloured bolt you'll have a nice view compared to my black one.
Conclusion: If you get a body with flaws, return it before you drill any holes. It will save you allot of time and money. It is what it is so I can't give it a 1. It gets a five.

Weaknesses: Not a true spyder aftermarket body.
Review: I dont want to bash fireball mountain but if your thinking of buying the "razzor" body and thinking it be quick parts change from your old maker to the new body it wont happen.I done a lot of tinnker on my old marker and was ready to make a maker from piece meal.I read little info on fmb web page and saw few markers and info on spyder bb.The body takes about half spyder parts and there are problems on how the front of the body is milled.milling over the whole body was well done and the angle feed neck and cocker detents are a plus. The problem with the body that going to raise people temps or have them return the body is how they tap the body for a asa and the v/a port on the front of the marker. The asa on the bottom of the marker is drilled for a pre 2k cocker asa and is drilled to far forward in the body. They drilled the air intake hole through the v/a theads. They could have fix this big boo boo with just milling body .5 inches longer and just slightly router body for 2k asa or just drill it or for a real spyder asa v/a block.Or they could make and sell with the body a asa that will line up with the holes that are drilled in the body.
Conclusion: The fmb body and company for there first try at spyder bodys did make a nicely mileld body but it does have it short falls. If fmb does read this review i would recomed that list asa fixes to your body or to change that part of the body.
