KitePaintball is a computer simulation of paintball. You can play against your computer or together with your friends over the network (up to 12 players for registered version). Players form teams (up to 4 different teams) that fight against each other. Currently, KitePaintball supports 4 types of game that differ in winning conditions. Primary mission is kicking off the game all opponents ("Hit Everyone!", this is the only type of game allowed in trial version of KitePaintball). You can read more about game types later in this manual. You hit opponents with balls shoot with your marker (weapon you are carrying). The field you are playing at is not fully visible to you. You can notice opponent only if you are observing his direction and there are no trees or other obstacles between you. Game ends after players of the only team are playing. You can play not only at predefined maps but create your own! Try Map Editor - it is very easy to make any kind of map to play with. Read more about creating maps later in this manual.
The KitePaintball is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.
I downloaded a trial of this game through KazAa and thought I would check it out. Bad idea, this is the worst paintball anything ever. They want $12 to register.... What a rip, go buy something else like a CD. The actual game-play is horrific, the computer players stand there and look at the wall, if you shoot them they just stand there. As for the network play..... yeah right..... doesn't work.
