I have owned this gun for 4 years and i have never had a problem with it, it kills the squirrels that pester the birds and soo much more...it is a classic and i would nver sell mine....but dont play with this gun, it shoots about 480 fps and hurts like a beeotch...its heavy and has lots of kick back but is good for "say hello to my little friend" reinactments, and yes, it was modelled after the famous Sten Mark 2 of the second world war
Conclusion:
In my opinion this gun is great for an enthusiast like myself and a must have, dont play with it but all in all a 10 out of 10
Used just about everything, I own a paintball shop so I have had to repair just about everything at one point in time.
Marker Setup:
I have gone through sooo many guns over the 12 years of being in business. But currently I do not have a gun. If you have ever turned your hobby into your job you will know what I mean.
Recommended Upgrades:
Extra clips if you can still find them. This gun will dust those clips faster than you can blink.
Strengths:
Reliable over the years. Fully Auto Is Extremely Quick.
Weaknesses:
Hard to find parts, it is the first Tippmann ever made in 1986.
Review:
This marker runs through air like crazy but has been reliable as far as not breaking down on me. If you have one of these hang on to it. They are hard to find and priceless to some. If you are ever in need of parts e-bay is your best bet since Tippmann no longer has any parts for this model. And good luck finding .60 cal paint I have tried for years now and still have not had any luck.
Conclusion:
If you have one keep it. They are worth a lot if you can find the right person. And its cool to own a part of paintball history.
Fast ROF, good accuracy, suprisingly no ball chopping
Weaknesses:
Discontinued long long ago, very rare
