The "Blind" bolt needs no Eyes-- the special front is designed to deform and "pinch" particaly fed balls, rather then chopping them. Early testing showes preformance at least equal to other top Quality Impulse bolts. The Unique front design gives a far better seal almost elimating "blow by" even in older guns. If you don't have an eye (vision), this is a must! If you do have an Eye- it sure won't hurt to have a second layer of protection. Using the blind bolt to "pinch not chop" elimates running your solenoid at very low pressures to elimate chopping- with the blind bolt you can run a more "normal" pressures and get the full cyclic rate out of your gun.
The Off The Break Blind Bolt is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

ND magno trigger

OTB Blind bolt
ND brass hammer
SP tape worm
much better than the stock obviously.
Nothing ive found yet. a little hard to get out but what short bolt isnt
The bolt is really nice.. i havent had it for long. a week or two.. put maybe 500 rounds through the gun w/ the bolt in it and not a single break or chop... ive had it hit the ball a few times and not chop it.. works like it should. Make sure you keep it lubed up good and it will treat you right.
-Too short for non milled body
-Does not prevent breaks
This bolt is a waste of money, don't buy it. Now that I've said that let me justify my statement. I have a non vision impulse, when I rip on my I-frame too fast sometimes i get some chops...we all do. so I decided to try out this new bolt with a squishy rubber tip, it sounded like a good idea right? soft tip deforms when it hits a ball not fully chambered. well thats what they want you to think. the rubber tip is far too short and made of a rubber that is way, way, way (etc...) too hard. They might as well have made the thing out of wood. You can squish the tip with your fingers but a paintball has no chance. Why they made the rubber tip harder than a paintball I can't say but I can say this...DON'T BUY THIS BOLT! I had 3 chops with it last night alone, for some reason I seem get less chops with my normal delrin bolt (usually only one a day sometimes none at all). Just save your money and buy a vision kit, thats what I'm gonna do.
Don't Waste Your Money!

I havent found a true weakness but i know others have so...
This is a good bolt, i have had it for a while and i have shot ropes without breaking, and when i did break it was the stock barrels fault, the ball did not break in the breach. This is one fo the worst rated bolts but somehting i found out was that if you read a lot fo reviews, some products work awesome for some people and some work like garbage
i have read many reviews and some products i have used have been "ones" and some people hate it and for a genuine reason, not just because they were an idiot and couldnt assemble their part and got frustratred and rated it bad.
so for me this bolt worked very well, for you it may not but i have this bolt once, sold that gun and bought a new impulse and bought this bolt again. Until it starts chopping like crazy i will use it.
If you can find it for 25 bucks, buy it and see what you think, you need to self review a product to really get a good feel for it so try it and if it doesnt work out for you... oops

This bolt sucks
I used this bolt in my impulse before we hacked the crap out of it and put the dmc frame on it and it almost killed my gun. Somthing about the bolt made my gun cycle way slower and it didn't even do it's job. I had more breaks after I put the bolt in my gun than before with the crappy evil bolt. Save your money, you would be better off with a stock bolt.
