Once I saw this marker on Armotech, I knew it was for me. When I received it in the mail I was very impressed with how well it was packed and how nice all of the parts looked (barrel, sight, etc.) I quickly put it together and put on a co2 tank and fired away. I shot through 2 hoppers and did not get one break! That was impressive! I've been using it for a year now and now all my friends want to get one, but they're all too cheap to pay up. Lol! |

| Conclusion: |
This is an amazing pistol and everyone should go and buy it immediately! |

Recommended Upgrades: |
IMHO The quick cap that comes with this package doesn't make any sense at all, sell/trade it and instead get:
- hopper adapter (you absolutely need this if playing speedball)
- bottomline (again, you absolutely need this if playing speedball) |
 |
 |
 |
 |
| Strengths: |
- Very modular and customisable
- Nice convertible design
- Very accurate
|
 |
| Weaknesses: |
- The folding stock can be prone to bending if you're too rough with it.

If you want an all-in-one'ish marker that you can use for both speedball and for pistol play, then this is it. The vast variety of upgrades and parts made for the Zeus G2 is very impressive to say the least.
BUT, my quirk with the Elite Limited Edition package is this:
If you want a tactical scenario play marker;
Why didn't Armotech package this marker with a couple of spare magazines? The darn thing comes with a quick cap, but no spare magazines. Have you ever heard of a SWAT team not carry extra magazines of ammo into a take down? That's just very bad foresight. If you reaaaally want realism, spare mags is the way to go. A flashlight and/or lasersight would have been good too.
If you want a semi-pistol that can be converted for speedball play;
Why didn't Armotech package this marker with a hopper adapter and/or a bottomline? The extended barrel and folding stock is great, but if you're playing speedball, you don't have time to change 12 grams, plus you'll fire off an entire 10 round magazine in a single burst. This is also very bad foresight.
This is still a fantastic marker for someone for can't afford a pistol and a semi, or for someone to loves to tinker with their equipment. Just beware that you will have to make some additional purchases in order to make this marker truly great.
Additional Comments (circa December 23, 2004)
Can't believe I forgot this; please bare in mind that, although the combination of add-ons / upgrades that are bundled may have been poorly thought-out IMHO. The overall package is still a fantastic purchase, you'll end up paying a lot more if you were to purchase these addons and upgrades separately.
Just know that after buying this package, you'll very quickly realise there's still one or two more items you'd want to purchase. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
There's no doubt that the Armotech addons and upgrades for the Zeus makes a an incredibly convertible and flexible marker. As a sidearm, as a main marker for scenario play, or as a low-mid end speedball marker, you can really go to town with customising this pistol to your liking. To the best of my knowledge, no other pistol out there have this kind of flexibility!
I'm giving this package a 9 because of weird combination of upgrades that are bundled together. Otherwise, the stock G2 itself is still a fantastic semi-pistol. |
