Review: When I received my evo gold in the mail, I was really impressed with the looks of the gun. I checked it out to see if there were any bad parts or serious factory defects, I didn't spot one. Right off the bat I knew that the evo was made with decent care.
I rushed to grab some paint and co2 to test it out. I was a little disapointed to see that it only shot well with the PMI paint that I had. That wasn't a big deal though. It ran 200 shots through it a didn't get one chop. I was impressed!
Conclusion: This an amazing marker for an intermediate player. I would suggest it to anyone looking for a good marker at a reasonable price. GO AND BUY THIS GUN TODAY!

Weaknesses: New bolt

Review: when i first bought this marker i thought it was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen. The colors are amazing. The body has some milling done to it. this gun is sort of a gas hog. it does not chop that many balls althought when it goes in full auto the regulator does get very cold.
Conclusion: Like i said it is sort of a gas hog, needs and new bolt and defently a force fed hopper. except for that it is a awsome stock marker!

Review: I bought this gun thinking it was great(looks arn't everyting) It chops every other ball, it works only 5% of the time. It is basically just a expensive, cheaply made fake spyder. I took it to a gun tech to see why it aent cocking itself when i fired. he said it need to be cleaned. I got it profesionally cleaned and still dosent work. Have spent more money trying to fix the gun then its worth. Had to sauder the wires inside to bypass the saftey cause it was stuck in on position. Ya this gun is that bad. But the 5% of the time that it did work it wasent that bad, its fast anf accurate. Just not reliable at all.
Conclusion: If u have money and like it when ur stuff dosent work buy it. othewise dont even bother. Biggest waste of money i spent in my life.

Only upgrade I can offer is to buy a Smart Parts ION since there in the same price range and way better.
Strengths: Customer Sevice, Looks, and the metal carrying case.
Weaknesses: Chopps every other ball and mine didn't shoot half the time.
Review: I was quite hesitant about purchasing this Marker and from the reviews I went for it. Well I received it in the mail and pulled it out of its box and thought wow what a nice looking marker. So I excited I took it outside and aired it up and filled it up with some Draxxuss paint. So I go and turn it on and set it to semi auto and hit the trigger and to my surprise it went nuts and wouldn't stop firing even after I let go of the trigger, it was like the electronics were shorting out and it was stuck in fully auto. While this was happening paint was chooping and breaking in the barrel and making a mess so I turned the switch off and degassed the marker. So I went inside and read the manual and adjusted the marker and cleaned it and took it back outside again and dry fired it and it shot ok. So I filled it up with paint and tryed again. So I fired the marker and on the second round it chops the ball so I go in and clean again come back out shot 3 rounds and the balls were flying everwhere but straight and the 4th chopped again. So now I'm a little pissed and took it to my local field to try out a different barrel and it still didn't help balls were still chopping and now the electronics must have been shorting out because the marker would not fire half the time it would like shoot 5 rounds and quit firing until I shut the marker off and turned it back on. So I called the company I purchased it from in Canada and sent that piece of crap back and received all my money back. And for its looks and metal case I will give it a 2 out of 10
Conclusion: I would save your money and Purchase a ION

IF you already bought it, and no matter how much I tell you to trash it, you're still gonna spend more $$$ on it, than go ahead and buy the new board and bolt, and a REAL electric hopper, and go ahead and try and take the gun apart and tweak anything. (i.e. it's lame trigger pull, or maybe it's rof)
Strengths: It is easily found on ebay searching 'speedball' and this gun will appear. (ONLY IT)
Weaknesses: Board
Bolt

Regulator Freezes

Review: If you're looking to make your son lose interest in paintball before he starts, buy an EVO!

I recently went with my very n00bistic (my word) friend(?) and he attempted to use his recently purchased Mars Evo Gold w/ his 'pimpin' case and he was IMMIDIEATELY approached by a B2K4 owner, with 3 years experience. "I am just admiring your beautiful gun." The beautiful female paintball player looked at me with a grin of sarcasm and although I easily detected it through her voice and grin, my friend simply took that as a serious complment. We all looked at each other holding ourselves from bursting out in laughter as my friend assembled it out of his case and immidietely started listing specifications such as how he upgraded it to shoot 20bps (if it reaches 10 id be surprised) and how he would be 'pwning' us at the game he loved with a passion. Good for him. For a whole 10 seconds. As soon as we got out on the field there were numerous account of his gun chopping uncontrollably at 7bps and he was escorted off the field because it alltogether stopped shooting. Burst an 0-ring. How many times today would that happen? Not one more. Not two more. 15 more times. Was it his fault his gun was performing so poorly? Yes, he bought it and despite my advice didn't return it when he was offered.
Conclusion:
If i felt like giving any more time into this gun, I would actually consider myself as one of it's biased followers. But i'm not, So peace out with my final few words:

If you're looking to make your son lose interest in paintball before he starts, buy an EVO!
