2k3 vf cocker, silver
absolutly nothing, works just fine the way it is
can screw hose into either side, cheap, nice annodizing, looks cool with shock tech LPR
The knob threads stripped one day, had to be replaced, accidentally scratched mine
I've been using this on/off for a little while now and I am very happy with it. I have it screwed onto the 8" NW drop that came with it and it fits perfectly.
Its clear to tell which way is on and which way is off. With my smart valve, i never knew which was it should turn the knob.
One day I was messing around with macro line and was using a (for some reason) jagged wrench and with out paying attention a scratched off some of the black, but no problem. I took a dab of black nail polish, let it soak into a wash cloth and wiped over the scratch and it was gone.
Over all a good product, looks nice on my set up and stays in working order. but it did scratch and the knob stripped for no apparent reason
WGP Orracle clear/black fade
NW On/Off ASA
Halo TSA (Eventually Reloader or Halo B)
PMI 16oz Anti-siphon
Dye 70 ci Throttle peanut
Shocktech Inline Reg
Large adjuster knob
Reversed threading from usual
Plugs use some serious threadlock–very hard to remove
Heavy for what it does.
I bought this from my local pr shop for around $35. To install it, you slide out a small rail, which uses recessed screws to hold it to the bottom of your grip or drop. Then you can slide the ASA about half an inch forward or backward on this rail, then you tighten a set screw to hold it in place. At first I was worried that this screw would come loose or allow it to wobble, but so far it has not.
The knob on the front is threaded opposite from how you might expect, to turn off the airlow, you turn left about 5 turns. Off is just the opposite, but the wierd thing is the flow won't start at all until the knob is alll the way in.
I'm not saying this is the best On/Off out there, but it certainly does what it's supposed to do, and looks cool doing it. I give it a 9.
32* universal drop w/rail and on/off...sucked compared to this
Shocktech Supafly bolt
Shocktech milled rear P-Block
Eclipse Blade Swing frame w/Dye Stickies
Bob Long Torpedo reg w/Smart Parts Gauge
Shocktech Front block w/Bomb 3-way
NW Drop with Skeletor On/Off
68/3000 hpa Fiber Nitro Duck
Nice looking and it's an on/off
I have the chrome one, it looks like it would be easily scratched.
I got the Skeletor on/off and it came w/the NW drop forward. I got both for around $55 + tax. I got this also because it goes w/the color scheme of my cocker and it was the only one the shop had. I'm glad i got it because the look of it matches the milling of my cocker and i was in need of a new on/off. I'm expecting to see the NW company to get bigger because they're making products that will catch the publics eye.
If you're in need of an on/off, try this one out. Some people like the milling and some people dont, it's all in one's personal opinion.
I have used many other nw drops and a Bunch of stock drops, and on'offs.
Nw Black magic cup seal
Nw no rise teardrop
Custom body cuts
The thing that sticks out is that this drop mounts directly under the grip.
Can't think of any.
This drop is not overly expensive and is in a reasonable price range as other drops. The drop right under the grip helps with snap shooting, and other drills and helps keep your elbow in. So if you play tourney... this is defenitely a drop to consider.
I used to have a huge problem with my elbow, and oru coach would always get onto me for it... this helped considerably. The on/off knob is thicker than past models, and helps get the tank depressurized when you have gloves on.
A defenite buy. recommended for any tourney player.
