Doesn't chop, requires no lube, runs smooth and allows meto cycle faster, and cheap
Weaknesses:
the plastic pin, in time, the end willbreak off. Mine did. But nothing serious
Review:
I bought my impulse with most everything it has on it now, and when I got it, it ripped like hell. It's no angel, but it's fast. My brother's impulse had the stock bolt because he bought it bran new. It breaks more than the function bolt, and doesn't cycle as fast.
Conclusion:
Get it, you will be very pleased. Big/good difference for not much cash. If you do buy this product, thenbut it with the hammer in the two-piece kit. It's cheaper and performs better that way.
This bolt does a pretty good job of what it is susposed to do. It's derlin so it lubricates itself and there's no o rings to deal with. It's light so you cycle faster and with less kick. I also noticed it made my gun a little quieter. It gives you a 10-15 fps increase so you can drop your dwell down a bit, plus the two piece black and silver design looks pretty cool.
Conclusion:
This is a really good bolt for the money spent. its really all personal preference since most derlin bolts do the same thing. a big deciding factor could be if its a venturi design or not... the function bolt isn't and i cant stand venturi designs any way, they limit flow. any way its a good bolt and does what its supposed to do... its worth it.
