The EGL-47 (Eagle 47) is an under gun mounted paint marker system presenting the visual impact of a current issue US Military M203 Grenade Launcher. The EGL-47 grenade launcher device is a 47mm, smoothbore, breech loading, gas/CO2 operated, manually fed, training aid device. The device shall be an "Under Slung" beneath paint ball marker systems/simulator. The EGL-47 device propels a 3-5 oz. fragmentation marker providing a 20+ foot diameter down range effected fragmented area, while employing a maximum operating pressure of 250psi.
Reloading the launcher is completed without dismounting the system from the primary marker system and is completed through the use of a forward sliding breach breakaway barrel assembly.
The EGL-47 is constructed of all steel & aluminum and consists of a cannon barrel assembly, expansion chamber and gas system assembly, mounting assembly, and air supply regulation system assembly.
All surfaces are anodize, oxide, or powder coated as per component requirements.
The mounting assembly is specific to the host weapon and shall be of universal design to fit all Tippmann Pneumatics paint ball marker systems which are interchangeable to meet the requirements of operational task objectives.
(Note: An adapter kit containing a remote CO2 supply and stock M-16/M-4 mounts is available to be use in combination with service rifles utilizing standard MILS gear).
Ammunition for the EGL-47 model grenade launcher system consists of liquid marking paint, crowd controlling agents, or other liquid fills as per specifications of operational task objectives. Liquids are contained in a thin walled rubber bladder encased in a cardboard breakaway shell casing, or an injection molded Styrene plastic shell casing/projectile. Rounds are impact detonated causing casualties through simulated fragmentation effects.
Standard ammunition fills include:
Color Marking (Fragmentation Simulation)
Glow in Dark (HE Report Simulation)
Odor (Gas/Chem/Bio Simulation)
Shotgun Shell (Shot Shell Simulation)

Review:
The EGL-47 grenade launcher is the best out there hands down. Though it is heavy if you have a sling you can't even tell its there. You can get it for $550 at the exotic sportz web site. The gas is hooked right up to your main gas line. It took me 15 min to hook mine up then I was outside destroying everything. You can make your own grenades too in a few minutes with water balloons washable non-toxic finger paint and a paper shell. Anything that will fit in can be launched(Smoke grenade water balloons small rodents). After launching the sound it self is nerve racking. Where ever you go to play your bound to looked upon with respect and fear. The egl-47 gives you the true feeling of battle. The number of games won has increased a ton after geting this insane weapon. If you are looking for a grenade launcher and don't mind shellen out the cash this is the only one to buy.
Conclusion:
Home made grenades is a good touch. It does not use a lot of gas and is very easy to set up. This will turn the heads of any one.
