Well it's not similar, but the only other gun i've used is Tippman 98 custom, which is a piece of trash compared to the Evo.

Review:
This is a really rare gun. Which is sweet. My gun is used and when i went to Doodlebugz indoor paintball coarse which is good, the guys all knew the owner of my gun before i got it.
My skill increased with this gun. Because compared to the tippman it shoots straight, fast, and will hit what every you are aiming for.
Each gun is also hand made making it perfect.
It is also maintenance free, this gun is not like other cockers.
Conclusion:
It may cost a lot, but its worth it. Get it used that what i did. Got it for $500 with freakbarrel and max flow w/ a 4500psi compressed air tank.

Review:
These things were put together to order, and each and every part was fully examined before it was even to be put into the marker. For 1200 you weren't just paying for a marker. You were paying for something to be made right, as everything used to be.
However I never bought mine new, matter of fact I bought it in pieces, and had to build it up myself. As far as I'm concerned it's just another autococker, but wit the smart parts name on it, it's truly unique, and very nice to own if you don't want to look like another brand name WGP jerk off.
Conclusion:
If you can find one cheap jump on it, even if you don't really want it. You'll at least make a couple of bucks on it. Remember it's just another cocker (w/exception for high grade parts), but I treasure it a lot, because it's truly unique.
