CMI's EC Drop Forward presents a clean and sleek look. This unit cradles and pushes forward C02 and HPA/NITRO tanks of all sizes. The bottomline adapter has multiple sets of holes to fit any drop block on the market. Includes gas line hose that connects to your marker and the back of the gauge. Does an exceptional job balancing the weight of your barrel and gun. Note: The hose that comes with this kit is for a gun that has standard ASA threads (the thread size on your air tank is ASA thread size). If your gun needs a standard micro line hose, let us know when you pay. We will switch for a standard micro line hose - that's a 1/8" sized thread with one end straight & one end 90 degrees.
Product Availability
The CMI International EC Drop Forward w/ Gauge is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Reincarnation 2 stock "drop forward"
Marker Setup: Mokal Fokus 2, CMI TruFlight QB 14" barrel, CMI EC drop forward
Strengths: Easy to install. Sturdy-rugged construction. O.K. guage.
Good bang for the buck.
Weaknesses: Bolt heads don't recess down into the base.
Hard to find a distributor.
Review: Well-there is form and function. I'm a function guy. This drop forward does everything I want it to do. It gets the tank down out of my way and makes it easier to sight my Mokal.
The guage is pretty basic but it is really helpful to know is you are getting low on CO2. You can adjust your firing rate to conserve when on the field. Plus you know when to "fill'er up". I'm impressed by the rugged construction. CMI stuff seems very well built.
Update 10/27/08: Well I have played with the CMI Drop forward a number of times now, and it has come loose a few times. I put some plumbers tape on the threads and this seems to have fixed the problem. I am really amazed at how well it keeps the tank out of my way when I am sliding and moving in general. The guage is a little hard to read while you are playing, but it is fine for checking your CO2 level between rounds.
The CMI drop forward is SO much better than the drop forward on the Mongoose Reincarnation 2 that I have used. It is hardly a drop or a forward. If you want to get the tank out of your way, and you don't want to spend too much cash, this one is great. My son bought mine for me for father's day. He had to get it off of an Ebay store, so finding someone who carries it may be hard. The effort is worth it though.
Conclusion: If you don't care about brand name recognition, and you want a drop forward that is a good value, the EC CMI Drop forward is great. Encorporating the guage is a great plus. I don't know where you could get a better price on the package deal.
If the bolts were recessed, I would give it a ten. Otherwise my vote is 9.5

Review: I was very pleasantly surprised when i received this drop in the mail. Its was very glossy adn came with a pree-sealed 0-1500 psi guage. It bolted up to my marker with the stock screws and was VERY sturdy wonce everything was bolted up nice and snug.
The finish on this product is top notch and it is very sturdy. The guage works flawlessly and is sealed up very nicely. This i s a very top notch product.
Conclusion: Very awesome product i recomened it to n e body!!!!

Review: Great buy if you looking for a long drop forward and it comes with so many extras for 30 bucks this is a great buy!!!!!!!! and the screws will probably fit your gun but mine is stupid but whatever. I highly recommend you get this drop it help your accuracy and keep your gun at a low profile

32 degrees flame drop forward
Marker Setup: Sp ion ,freak barrel, 12 volt revy , mini drop forward.
Strengths: It's very durable feels very strong like its never going to get loose.
Weaknesses: Need certain screws, tanks do not fit correctly ,
Review: When you screw in a tank it doesnt fit correctly, the drop bar is 2 close to where the tank screws in, so the tank valve or gauge gets caught when ur trying to screw it in. I love it when it came in the mail it looked decent feels strong , i put it on my ion and put a tank on to see the difference , well when i did that i dicovered a big problem it didnt screw in at all. i took file and filed it down for 3 hours!
Conclusion: It,s good to have for a cheap price i got mine for $21.00 , its very strong but 1 major flaw is that a tank wont screw in right , i had to use a filer to make enough room for the gauge , valve to turn pass the bar, took me 3 hours to hand file it, get it but goodluck filing
