We used our patented spool valve technology to create a super efficient bolt giving us well over 1500 shots from a 68/4500 fill. New style o-rings are used throughout the kit giving a super smooth cycle even at low LPR pressures and low dwell times. Ran 1.5 turns on the lpr with no drop off with a dwell of 12. We have worked with the matrix community to test and improve the bolt even before it was released, to give you the peace of mind that this will perform out of the box. 6 months warranty. ajdaman Wednesday, January 19th, 2005 Period of Product Use: Less than a month Paintball Experience: More than 5 years Similar Products Used: Stock Image bolt Marker Setup: Cobolt Dye Matrix, 2 liter aka inline, 1 liter scm lpr, evolve x 92 bolt, Shocktech drop, Check it on/off, Sceptor Barrel kit, ccm no rise, Dye sticky 3's, and of cource Tadao 5.0. Strengths: Very smooth 3 piece designe makes cleaning and reassembling a snap Weaknesses: Evolve had some early problems with them and are still working out the bugs Review: When I first got this bolt I was impressed with the design they had chosen. I have axidentaly placed my bolt in wrong before because of all the pieces, but this bolt only has 3 large pieces and of cource the bolt center. About a week after I got it Evolve sent a replacment bolt because many people who had gotten theirs had found that it wasnt as efficiant as Evolve was claiming. I aired up my marker and made sure it appeared to be working before taking it to the field. At the field I chronoed at 260, and reset my regs. I had to increase my input pressure but I was able to lower my lpr quite a bit. The bolt ran smoothly all day in my 03matrix with good consistancy, no shoot down, and just all around good performance. I was able to acheave 1500 shots off a 68/4500 hot fill but no more than that. Evolve had claimed that they would get "well over 1500" but I couldnt get mine to do that. Conclusion: I love the bolt it works better than stock and is easier, however I am hopping that in the future I get the shot count the company promised. I would recomend this bolt but dont expect to get 2000 shots off it. im giving this bolt a 7 because its good but the company who made it has proved already that they could have done better.
