i was awarded these for a paintball promotion. the silencers are a real rugged pair of cleats. the sole is real comfortable and you can lace them up pretty tight. the only thing is you want to wear them around before playing in them because they can cause blisters and sores around your ankle because they don't tend to give or bend certain ways. |

although a pretty good pair of cleats i would only use them outdoors, they are really good on muddy surfaces! |

Old style Tanels - until the Diggers these were my favourite cleats. Both the Tanels and the Diggers use a similar circular cleat that allows for easy turning without screwing up your knees or ankles. Tanels are still available today, but their top-line model is almost double the price of the Diggers.
Reebok Pitbulls (?) I think that was the model name. I had them after the Tanels and before the Diggers. Anyway, these had directional instead of circular cleats. On grass and dirt, my ankles felt the difference when trying to change direction. Once I wore 'em out, I went to the Diggers so I could use a circular cleat again. |

Low price.
Breathable. Very comfortable. Good ankle protection (these are high tops) when playing in woods fields. Circular cleats give lots of traction on dirt and grass, yet allow you to make turns without torquing your knees and ankles.
Relatively easy to clean (wash it down with warm water, air dry with newspapers stuffed inside, and then put some black shoe wax on it to protect it from moisture). I also recommend using cedar shoe trees. These will make the shoes last longer by preserving their shape and absorbing moisture out of the shoe and into the tree (prevents the shoe from falling apart due to perspiration damage). |

Not designed for every surface (but then again, what shoe is?). Very slippery on concrete and wood-splattered paint. Not for artificial indoor surfaces as you would encounter at tourneys like Skyball (carpet this year).
You'll need other shoes for those surfaces.
If you're a front player in speedball fields, you may prefer Diggers' lower cut boot, the Extreme. |

Excellent shoe for outdoors on grass and dirt. High tops protect the ankles esp. in the woods. Circular cleat does a great job. Low maintenance and low price. Great value.
Dont' expect to use this shoe for every surface. Indoors on carpet or concrete, you'll need something else. If you're a front player who does a lot of concept fields, you may want Diggers' lower cut shoe. |

They offer great ankle support.
They grip well. I play in very hilly areas and they rarely slip.
They are not stiff like a boot.
Affordable price.
Durable. I have had mine three years and they are holding up just fine. |

Nothing, except that it may be hard for someone not living near the Diggers Store (Operation Paintball) to try on a pair and get the right fit. |

If you play on a variety of terrains, this shoe/cheat is a great choice. It grips well, offers good ankle support, is affordable, and durable. |

These are some nice shoes, I had mine for around six months now and they are holding together well, with no discernable wear on the tread. I find mine comfortable and, although they are the mid-top model, they give good ankle support. They are staying in very good shape to spite play in wet weather, some snow, woods, and speedball fields. The cleat on the ball of the foot is circular in shape to aid in rapid directional turns according to the manufacturer, which should reduce the chance of a knee ligament injury due to over-rotation of the joint. All that aside they are easy to manuever in and of heavy duty construction, offering better ankle support than low topped cleats. They also have a set of four speed laces (on the mid-top models) to allow for faster lacing up of the shoes. Customer service was also excellent, I had originally wanted the high-top model which was not in stock, so they gave me a substantial discount on the mid-top model, and even offered to let me exchange them for the high-top model in my size when they were back in stock if the mid-tops were not suitable. Really nice service, and the girl on the phone was very easy to talk to as well. |

They would not be great for hard surface play, and they are slow to take the shape of your foot, which might give you a few blisters if you are not careful to break them in slowly at first. The toe seemed rather narrow at first, but it not longer does, so I believe it may have been due to the period of wear in time need to allow the shoe to conform more to an individuals' foot. |

I would say after the initial break in they are comfortable to wear, with a price of around $55.00 or less. They are worth it in my opinion, giving good traction and having good quality construction. I would have no prolem reccommending Diggers' cleats to anyone for any type of paintball field excluding hard surface. I don't think anyone would be dissatisfied with Diggers shoes. |

Light weight, sizing is standard!!!! great ankle support, breath well, fairliy water resitant, work great in loose or packed dirt, great in grassy terrain. Outdoor fields, or indoor with dirt floors!!! (since i never worry about my beater) i've learned to drive with them on, there for no muddy socks for the drive home... |

GREAT shoe.. if your tired of twisting ankles from using low top cleats, or tired of spending outragous money on hightop cleats or work boots that are heavy, CHECK OUT SOME DIGGERS!!! And they are showing up in more and more store.. |
