Chrome finish could be more resistant to wear. S&H slow from I&I sports.
Review:
I have used well over 20 of these pods over the last two years, the only problem i've found is that the chrome finish wears off with time.
Not that the finish is bad just after a full season you will want to retire your old chrome pods for new ones, that's what I do!
Anyhow as for the internal spring strength, it kicks butt never had a pod open on me not once, sometimes when the pods are still new they can be a little hard to open. I have never had a Ronin "Chromy" pod crack on me yet!
Conclusion:
These pods are stylin, great price and almost unique at most fields, rare to see others using them.
So if you want stylin, eye catching, super sexy pods that will last a full season, buy these ones!!
9/10 -1 for the crome finish wearing off with CONSTANT use and the horrible S&H from I&I sports!
32 degrees flip top tubes, the 32 degrees are more flexible and havent opened once
Marker Setup:
ICD Freestyle red to black fade with an evo II. used to have a tippmann 98 Custom with a response trigger, J&J 2 pc. stainless 14 inch barrel, Viewloader Revolution loader, low pressure kit, Crossfire 3000 psi 68 ci preset, and double trigger
Strengths:
It hold 140, good price, durable
Weaknesses:
From time to time it has accidental openings, break easily, and arent clear
Review:
I got these pods with my first harness, i had six of them and only have 3 now. On the three that broke the hinges just pretty much fell off , and the tops opened up from time to time. The shell is hard so they wont snap on even the roughest landings. The 3 intact pods are all scratched up but are still in playable shape. Now i have 32 degrees flip top tubes but i still use the Ronin's as backups.
Well what can i say, i was playing woodsball and i had broken the 2 pods i had brought along, my friend handed me a couple of these and i was kinda like well, they look kinda cool and i needed some pods so i took 2 and went off to play. Shortly after i realized there was a major issue with these pods, YOU CANT HIDE AT ALL WITH THEM ON! But hye i needed pods and they were mine so i wasnt complaining, then i went to empty one ino my hopper, i poped the top and it came right off. THE ONLY GOOD THING about these is they hold your paint. DONT BUY THEM! Dumb idea to make chrome pods!
Conclusion:
If you like to stand out in the woods, but look ghetto fabulous lol then get these, other then that they are not worth it.
