Paintball Experience: 2 years Similar Products Used: Nothing except mags Marker Setup: 98 custom 14in.J&J ceramic barrel Inline expansion chamber viewloader quantum (i'm lookin for a new 1) Jt Slammer pack Pure Energy 20oz tank Strengths: Tons of color pics,tech tips Weaknesses: Twenty five bucks Review: This book is really cool, I almost read through the whole thing and i want to read it all over again! It has 343 pages (somthing like that) and it shows u how to clean a tippmann and statagies, it talks about bunkers,what u should do before a game like streaches and running drills.I also like that they have an "equipment" section in there. I would really like to see maybe an updated one because my friend rented the first or second one and it was almost reading the same thing on some of the stuff, now don't get me wrong there is a lot of new stuff in here, just there is also some old stuff too. Review: Maybe I just bpught this book late but it seemed to me the pictures and interveiws aere outdated. Although there is alot of good articles in this book. It gives you a good overall perspective of paintball. there is alot of games, tactics and other stuff that even some of the most experianced ballers' didnt know. Conclusion: Great book, get it. reltserw_eoj Monday, September 19th, 2005 Period of Product Use: 2 years Paintball Experience: 2 years Similar Products Used: none Strengths: Pictures, Important Facts and Tips, Strategies, Never Gets Boring Weaknesses: You have to read Review: Color pictures hold the eye of those of you with short attention spans (like myself.) In depth detail into the very begining of paintball and to present day. It explains a few scenarions that would be easy for beginers to learn and fun for the veteran ballers. The book is especially good for beginers because it explains a lot about the rules and what you need to paintball, while still having enough new information/interviews to stay informative to a hardened player. Conclusion: Great Book, Worth the money, If your new to paintball or just want to brush up your technique or history, this is the book for you. Weaknesses: Not many. Review: Overall, this was a pretty good book for somebody looking start playing paintball. It had all kinds of good advice about choosing new equipement and all that stuff. One of the things that I really like about the book was it had really good descriptions about what different speedball players should wear with all kinds of well expplained detail. Other than that though, for someone who is already into paintball, and especially speedball, there's not to much for you. Conclusion: I would recommend this book for anybody who is just starting off, but if your more into one type of field of paintball (speedball, woodsball, reckball etc..) than this isn't really the book for you. Marker Setup: 2005 Kingman Spyder Pilot (Camo) 14" Progressive Barrel Extreme Rage Springs Empire Reloader 2 Strengths: Takes you over everything you need to know. EVERYTHING. And it's only $23 CDN Weaknesses: That I don't have a copies for all the mebers on my team. Review: What an excellent book! Normally I cannot sit still and read but I sat there and read this thing cover to cover. Yeah it took a whole day, but it was worth it. It is now on loan to one of the members of our team. But holy crap it goes over everything from speedball tactics, outdoor tactics, drills, stretches, new gear, interviews with all the key players and business guys. $23 CDN is no where near what this book is worth. I picked it up as for a good read, but the book was awesome, and it is fairley large.. It has awesome color pictures, and a lot of good information, as well as interviews with manufactures head poeople... Conclusion: Get it, Awesome Read!
