If you really need a barrel plug you dont even need to read any of these in my opion there all the same. but if your looking into barrel condoms maybe do a little more reading because there are some nice ones out there that you have to spend a little of money on. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If your a woodsball/ back yard/ rec ball and your not regquired to have one i really wouldnt think you would need one but it can never hurt to have one. |

| Review: |
It's a berrel plug. It does what it does. many people rate it like crap when comparing it to barrel condoms, which yes are superior in looks and work better. I am rating this as a barrel plug and not compared to a barrel condom.
This plug is cheap (think I got mine for $4 CDN) and has a nice colour. It fit my old gun (a Zap ZXS 440) perfectly when the o-rings were in. I purposely fired a paintball while this was in, and the plug DID NOT FIRE OUT! That's what it's designed for, and that's how it performed. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I wouldnt reccommend this for anyone, as it's less safe than a barrel condom, but when you're short of cash or just starting out, this is an okay product. |

| Review: |
This plug came with my Icon E. It's 3 orings provide just enough resistance to stop a -/ 250fps hit. Anything over, and it WILL blow out. It goes in easy, it comes out easy. This plug is suitable only for mechanical, low velocity markers. Not for tboarded guns like mine which can spit 20bps on a burst. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Not a good product. Barrel condoms are much safer. |

| Review: |
Well way back when I was a n00b. I was using my Tippmann 98 custom with nothing added to it, and one day I went to the indoor field with some friends, and while in the waiting area we had been waiting a while and we were all just tapping our fingers, and I thought my safety was on (Frickin mech guns) and i pulled the trigger and praise the lord i was pointing at the ground, and it shot blowing the barrel plug out of the gun and into peices onto the floor. And if I hadn't been pointing it at the ground i could have hurt someone pretty bad. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Don't get it, get a barrel condom/sock whatever you call it. It's much, much safer. I'll give it a 3 because it does in a way stop you shooting Paintballs at people while in the waiting area. |
