Warped Sportz's entry level barrel, a grade below the Lucky 15 line. Barrels are normally the first item to upgrade on a stock marker out of the box.
Product Availability
The Warped Sportz Ugly Stick is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

J&J Ceramic 14 inch. They actually look very much alike if you look at them both together. But the Ceramic has better coating in the inside (uh, its ceramic).
Marker Setup: Tippmann 98 Custom with J&J Edge barrel kit, response trigger, Cyclone feeder, double trigger, Clear Dye Sticky Grips, Rocket Cock II, Dead On Rear Velocity Adjuster, Skull drop forward and Dead on X-core expansion chamber.

Paintballs:
Any paintball that is around medium bore. It is a .689 I think and make sure the quality is good of course.
Strengths: Good price (Mine was $24.99), simple yet attractive milling, good porting, mirror interior finish.
Weaknesses: Um... its ugly?
Review: This could be a bad batch because the barrel as of right now is new but one of the two logos on both sides of the barrel was glued on backwards. Where the words "ugly stik" is right side up on the left side, but the right logo is placed on backwards. No big deal though, you can easily peel it off and reglue the logo the correct way. The porting of this barrel is enough so that it is silent but not too much that it will eat up your gas efficiency. The porting are placed right where they belong, closer to the front, and not to far back. The milling is simple, yet the barrel does look attractive, unlike what the funny name might suggest. This barrel is an upgrade to my Ion and it looks like it belongs there. When you screw in the barrel and it becomes tight, you will notice that the logos on both sides align correctly. Which is good that they took care of doing that right, because hate it when the logos are not in the proper looking position, and it makes the set up look sloppy rather than properly aligned and neat. But other than looks the performance is good. Looking down the barrel you will notice a desirable mirror finish with no blemishes inside. The milling and porting is simple enough so that cleaning the barrel is easy and does not require much time consuming cleaning methods to get in any fancy lines of the milling, or porting holes like other barrel brands. The porting is just the right size for silencing, yet large enough to be cleaned easily. I have noticed that after games just like my ceramic barrel, this stays clean. If this is a sign of some kind of self cleaning method I do not know, however, I must note that the porting holes were full of paint after the game... Accuracy is excellent, with string shots in the air each ball was following the other like pearls traveling down an invisible line. With the stock barrel I noticed that they would spread more. But accuracy has improved at least double if not triple if the paint is good. I was using economic paint and the accuracy was as I desired. Because I have only used this barrel at moving human targets, I am unable to give an example of shot groupings in this review. But I will attest that most balls went right where I wanted them to go, keeping alot of the enemy players on the move and at far distance when seeing those paintballs give near hits. Did I mention this barrel is silent? The porting is of the correct amount and the correct area of the barrel. Making a low pitched "thwik thwik" sounding noise as it fired.
Conclusion: I definitely suggest getting this barrel if you want an inexpensive upgraded barrel for you paintball gun without sacrificing performance. This barrel has failed to chop through several games so far, and succeeded in delivering desirable accuracy when needed.

Review: My first experience with the barrel was quite pleasant today, as I shot it and realized exactly how quiet it really was. It's a bit more silenced than the stock barrel, and works like a charm. If you're using good paint, there shouldn't be any problems with breaks in the barrel. Porting holes are a bit big, but don't let that scare you, it won't eat your air and they're far enough down the barrel to keep it nice and quiet.

*UPDATE!* I recently have used this barrel more and more! It's NICE! Works well with Big Ball, or any other .689 paintball. It's quite the accurate little stick. Quiet as well...Two days ago people were asking me what it was, they liked it a lot. I told them it was an ugly stick....They had no clue what the hell it was. Mostly because I took the stickers off...I just didn't like the color of the text, it was a bit repulsive to me :P Anwyay, So all is well with the barrel, DEFINATELY GET IT IF YOU NEED A CHEAP UPGRADE ON YOUR ION!!!! Stock's good, this one's a bit better. Shoot's nice.
Conclusion: Overall good for the price. If you're looking for a quick upgrade or just an additional item to get free shipping, it's a good idea. I'm impressed with the accuracy.
