AKA makes the best products mainly their regulators...I got this in replace of my PBC lpr...the AKA Soda Can Mod 3 is the newest one out from AKA...It came preset from AKA at 72 psi...just remove your old one and screw this one in...self compensating low pressure regulator...very very consistant and the best on the market.
Conclusion:
I recommend this to someone looking to upgrade their stock lpr...very consistent and only cost $50...AKA are known as the Low Pressure Expert for a reason...

I ordered this lpr from compulsive b/c my PBC was to hard to adjust and kept messing up and wasn't very consistant at all. so i got this and put it on then busted the back o ring on it. i think that was my fault for not lubing it before i put it in but ne way i got it working and im now shooting +/- 7 fps at most and i haven't had any creeping problems or pressure dropping or gaining unwantedly (if thats a word lol). and i have yet to chop paint with it even held 1 in breach and no chops.
Conclusion:
For $50 its well worth it wether ur guns not consistant or your tired of messing with your reg.
Just the stock lpr, PBC. Tends to creep and has to be reset every time you air up. Plus it's long and ugly but that's just my opinion. :P

Review:
Something was up with the PBC lpr but i couldn't find a rebuild kit. And if i were to just buy a new lpr, i may as well buy a better one. Since i was already familiar with the quality of AKA (me & 2 of my cousins all own/owned Sidewinders) i decided to get this here SCM III.
First of all, it's tiny. Compared to the PBC, the SCM is less than half the length which is a plus for me since i like my markers compact (although these older Trixes can't be TOO compact).
Second, setting the lpr (if need be) is done by simply turning a screw with the appropriate allen wrench, instead of fiddling with a knob then turning a set screw. But you don't even have to mess with that on the SCM unless it's time to relube it. *Comes preset at 70 psi from the factory.
Third, and most important, consistency. No creeps, no resetting every time you air up, no worring about the adjustment coming loose. Just install it and forget it.
Conclusion:
I'd recommend this over all other LPRs for performance. It's AKA, for beef's sake; what do they make that ISN'T good??
