| Review: |
First off they are a bit expensive. However how much are you willing to spend to keep the are below the belt protected? If you play the sport long enough you will either have several close calls, or you will eventually get shot there. Myself I have had several close calls and decided it was time to get me a pair. At the time the C5 Slider Shorts were the only ones available in my area.
There isn't a lot of padding on the legs, but that was not my main concern. They have a thin high density foam insert for the front. In my opinion it is almost too thin. Even so they have saved me a few times now.
These slider shorts also have some padding in the rear to help out with some of the awkward dives needed to get behind the bunkers.
The C5 shorts are older and you may not be able to find them in too many places now. Dye has come out with a newer version of slider shorts. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
If you are looking for something that has protective padding that you can wear under your paintball pants these are a great buy. However I would look into the 2007 slider shorts. It gets a 9 out of 10 since the 07 shorts are on the market. |

| Review: |
SO i got these because i switched from regular BDU's to the SpecOps Ultralites. Love the Dye shorts. The cost is a bit inhibitive, and i think the padding in the legs could be a little thicker as well as the front doesn't seem to hold the kind of cup i have well, but my friend owns these too and his cup fits fine. i think the cup section could come lower between the legs so there is more lower region protection b\c if i'm flat out and shooting i could still take one in the family jewels...no fun. As for the ability to wick moisture...no doubt. these things keep me cool even with sweat running. i live in SC so the humidity is wicked bad, but these keep away the ol' "swamp crotch" sensation. there have been times i've even felt cold from the wicking effect. so that is a super nice attribute to them. they are a bit much but then again it's got dye's name on it so what do you expect. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Overall nice shorts. saved me from some bumbs and bruises but could use some improvement. Pricey but will keep you cool. if you live in a hot environment, consider them. |

| Review: |
When I first bought it the padding on the behind area was ok but after a few washes it feels thinner. Maybe I washed it wrong? Apart from this there pretty good. The fit is good and doesn't move around. I also had some bounces off of my upper leg area. Not alot but every little bit helps :) |
 |
| Conclusion: |
It's a good product but pricey. |

| Review: |
I tested the for a day, and i couldnt even feel them under my pants. They were a bit hot, but it didnt last long. I was suprised that they didnt restrict my movement at all. I also crawl alot (alot!), and i didnt et the bruises i usually get from bad dives. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Overall pretty good, but i wouldnt really reccomend it. |
