I got this product used when i bought an Orange bolt. I would not advise buying it when you have just the stock bolt without any efficiency mods or it will kill your efficiency. I put in the orange bolt with the tophat mod, and it had no kick (obviously) but then i decided what the hell ill put in the new bolt guide. I didnt think a simple bolt guide could effect the smoothness of my gun. As everyone knows protos run at a higher pressure then the dye series, but this bolt guide lowers your pressure enough to have your proto running smoother then ever. Granted i didnt pay for the bolt guide i would think its well worth the money had i dished out for it.
Conclusion:
Great product, you will be amazed at how much smoother your proto really can shoot. I give it a 9 out of 10 because 54 bucks for a bolt guide is still alittle steep, but if you can find it used or somehow be lucky enough to get it free when buying another product like myself it is WELL worth it
