I bought this to give myself easier access to the rammer when ever I need to lube it up.
Instead of finding the correct sized allen/hex key and the risk of damaging or rounding out the stock RAM cap this Critical RAM cap is easily removable without tools.
Of course the Critical RAM cap give you the option of adjusting the 'resting' position of the bolt to short the cycling length of the bolt.
Although the Ego does not need an adjustable RAM cap because it does not have any bolt creeping issues like some 'other' guns the no-tools-required for removal of teh RAM cap is the feature that I desired and wanted for my gun.
I had one of these on my old Ego5...so when I bought my current Ego6 this RAM cap was one of the 1st ups I purchased.
Conclusion:
Easy access to the rammer....aids in easier maintenence.

Works as designed- although I don't think being able to adjust the position on the bolt of an ego is really needed. I didn't move my bolt forward from stock position but didn't notice any difference bad or good. I bought one so I didn't have to use an allen wrench to get to rammer. Also the color match on the black is perfect.

Well i bought this because the new designz ram adjuster just didnt match my other parts. when i got it i saw it was a perfect match to my trigger eye covers etc. the bolt adjustment was perfect and my only gripe is the anno is a lil thin/spotty around the allen hole other than that great product. buy it.
