Ok this is a great knee pad for the price. I bought mine on ebay and they where very reasonable. When I first open the package I thought that the pads look awesome, however they also looked like they would be a little hot do to the materials they were made from, but this I could not tell till it came to the field test.
Field Test
When I wore these pads for the first time I was amazed at how well they morphed to my Knee, offering awesome protection and a comfortable fit. Talk about protection!!! I dove all over my friends field and never had any problems with small rocks or anything, and for someone that has not the best knees thats important. The only thing I noticed out of the hold day was that the top band was a little tight, but livable with.
Conclusion:
So over all these pads are great for the money if your looking for an all around good knee pad that wont empty you wallet
Before I start, Mantis Kneepads are advertised as "one size fits all," and I wear a size large in sized knee pads
When they came through ups yesterday, I opened the package and they look as it they would serve the purpose. Then after getting back from running errands, i decided to try them on, they fit like a SIZE SMALL compared to sized knee pads. Before one was 3/4 of the way onto my calves the material ripped down the side and became useless.
I would not recommend these knee pads to anyone
Conclusion:
Spend the extra $15-$20 for proto or dye pads and you thank yourself
