This video wasn't what I was expecting.
I was hoping Derder's video would be something like the ESPN paintball shows I've watched that are kind of like watching the Tour de France (but with guns) - watching the game unfold with commentary, on screen graphics showing eliminations, team positions etc. Not even close.
For what it was designed to be, I'd give it a 9 or 10. Music selection and production values are excellent.
Once you get really good at paintball, this will be a great pre-game pump up. |

| Conclusion: |
OK - if you want a video that bears a resemblance to a pro skateboard or rock video, you'll love this.
If you play speedball and want a video that's going to pump you up and make you want to shoot some ropes, you'll love this.
If you thought you were going to watch "a game" and maybe pick up some tips, take notes or learn something, you'll be disappointed.
I revised my rating from a 7 to a 9/10 because I didn't think it was fair to mark it down for trying to be something it isn't. For what it's supposed to be, it's extremely good. |

I have mixed feelings about this dvd.
first, i liked that they focused in on pro teams and the outtakes were pretty funny
next, the footage was good, but it was almost too fast paced, and they only really slowed it down for the pro sections
i wasnt a fan of the music. i like rap, but not for pball videos in general. it made me think more of as a skateboard video than pball.
and lastly, the shortbus extra in natural selection was hilarious with todd, cuba and b. cole. this shortbus really wasnt too funny and the only returning star was cuba. the other guy was catfish, who i havent heard of before this vid.

alright so ballervideos is packin up, im a friend of a friend of the owner, bought O.I. for 25 shipped which is great for 105 minutes. you can hear the game, theres music, but they still include the game sounds, unlike cereal killerz where its all music. the drama is great, youve got incredible audio and video on and off the field of players wiping, gettin shot out, bunkered, swearing like crazy, bonus balled, and almost gettin onto fights. you get to see ollie lang totally pissed. the bloopers are amazing too, busted guns, falling, all sorts of stuff |

Buy it if you know paintball dvds, if you want an instructional vid this isnt for you, but if you just want some of the real drama and insanity that is pro paintball than this ones for you. |

Awesome footage of tourneys such as San Diego, HB, World Cup, Amsterdam, Las Vegas and more. Plus they have some bloopers mixed in about midway though that are just so funny. You got guys tripping, slipping, loaders falling off, pants falling down, shooting teammates at the break. Music is a mix of rock and punk rock there's only one rap song which is ok. There's team bios for XSV, Dynasty, Avalanche, and Infamous which are pretty good w/ a mix of some of their games thrown in w/ the interviews. Only thing though is that they say the F-word a lot in this so if you don't like it i wouldn't recommend getting this. |
