The PMI Piranha PSI G2 is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Products Used:
sypder shutter
piranha psi
Marker Setup: Sypder shutter nothing new on it yet but am planing on placin a new barrel on it. The stock barrel is incredibally good. It is 12 inches and it doesnt break balls.
The piranha psi was my friends gun. He has currently placed a new barrel on it.
Recommended
Upgrades:
New barrel-- Any barrel made by smart parts except the freak or freak jr. trust me. they r both very expenisive and aren't worth it.
Drop forward
Strengths: Double trigger
Raised sight-rail
Inexpenisive
Weaknesses: Plastic grip
The barrel is 8 inches it also breaks balls.
Conclusion: It is a decent gun but if u r willing to spend more money on a gun get a better piranha such as the piranha pro.

Strengths: Nice Feature set for the price. Decent manual. After repairs it has worked flawlessly thru 1000 rounds of PMI Premium paint. (with J&J Ceramic barrel and 20 oz CO2 tank).
Weaknesses: First time I tried to play with it, I couldn't chrono over 200. Found out the Regulator was defective. My primary store (COpaintball & Spatterpark) rebuilt it for me on the spot and no charge...Now That's customer service!! After that, the marker worked flawlessly.
Conclusion: The marker is sweet and with the barrel upgrade, deadly accurate! The new G3's only have a few features over the G2 so this is the bargain IMHO. pick it up, grab a new barrel and enjoy! I'm rating it 8 because the regulator was defective.

Strengths: I have to say this gun is awsome. I had the first war with it Sunday and it played great. It was raining cats and dogs and I still didn't pop one ball the whole day. I don't know what the other guys were thinking when they wrote a review on this gun, but my barrrel preformed perfectly. I especially like the easy disassembly process. It's very easy to maintane.
Weaknesses: I really haven't discovered anything bad about this gun. I gaurantee there prabably won't be a prablem.
Conclusion: I suggest to anybody that is looking for a gun, you should get this one or a piranha. The preformance of this gun is awsome and it's accuracy is great. I don't even have a new barrel. I'm not jyst giving this gun a 10 because it is mine, but the way it preformed under the sucky conditions, it suprised me.

Strengths: This is an awesome gun! I bought one in December 2000 and it works like a dream. I put a Dye Boomstick on it, a drop foward on it, a sight on it, and I bought a Revolution hopper for it also! I'm not buying a new gun because my friend bought a Smart Parts Impulse and it broke down the first time he played with it and the same thing happened to a Tippmann RT that same that we played! It turns out that my gun (Piranha PSI G2) and another Piranha were the only working guns when we played together! I love this gun!

Weaknesses: This gun has two downsides:

1. If you put a drop foward on it, Revolution hopper on it, and a new barrel on it , it is heavy.
2. The stock barrel isn't that good, so if you buy one go ahead and buy a new barrel for it.
Conclusion: Overall, I rate this gun a 9.9. The only upgrade you would probobly need for it is a new barrel. It is worth the money that you pay for it. This gun compares to other guns in its class. I reccommend this gun to everyone.

Strengths: I"ve had this gun for about 7 monthes now, and although i havnt played a whole lot, this gun has never failed me. The feild strip thingy is really awsome. It makes it real easy to clean it. It is pretty quiet with a 14 inch barel.
Weaknesses: The stock barel sucks. You bust one ball in it, you're screwed!
Conclusion: If you are just starting out, but already know youre gonna be a paintball finatic, then upgrade this sucker with a bottem line, 14-16 inch barel, and a larger expantion chamber. It is a good priced gun, but check around, prices very from store to store. I recomend this gun to any newbie.
