Review:
This is a great item for people who like the milsim look but also want something usefull. This is basicly a metal tube hollowed out, holes are drilled in the sides and weaver rails mounted on it. The handguard was thicker metal than I expected. You can watch them run over one of these hand guards on the OPSGEAR website. I really belive you can run it over and it will still be intact. The hand guard also has a lifetime gurantee. Also if you take the weaver rails off, it kind of looks like a machine gun shroud. The weaver rails are great, they are made of high quality plastic and each is held to the hand guard by 4 screws. I have a bipod mounted on the bottem of my hand guard and it is held on good. It doesnt move around a lot. The only thing that kind of isnt good, is that when you start mounting accesories on the hand guard the gun starts to get front heavy. Lots of barrels are 7/8 inch wide, but the hand guard only fits 1 inch wide barrels. To make the hand guard fit your 7/8 inch barrel all you have to do is buy the adaptor kit from OPSGEAR for only .75 cents.
Conclusion:
This is a great accesory for anyone who wants to mount stuff on there barrek.

Very nice, very strong. You can put all kinds of stuff on this thing. The only problem that I had with it was installing it. If you do not have a 1" barrel you need two 75 cent adapters. I did not know when I ordered mine and had to reorder. Could have come with it. I have a quad rail on my flat line and the opsgear is alot nicer and stronger.
Conclusion:
I would buy this product again (but I would order two or three of the adapters for 7/8" barrels even if you dont need them, so that if you want to change it to another barrel you will have all the pieces).
