Overall this is a nice bolt, at first I thought it was a little stiff when I moved it back & forth but after I lubed the o-rings and rammer I went outside and I easily ripped 15bps.
The o-rings should give you a better seal when shots are being fired & I noticed even less blowback (when feeding a couple of paintballs directly into the feedneck, when you shoot they jump less)
The little bit of kick is about the same as the stock bolt because when I weighted each bolt, they both came in @ 1.4 ounces.
The claims of an efficiency increase can be true because you can decrease your dwell and probably lower your LPR pressure as well as lower your HPR input, so you're blowing out less air when shooting,.............with properly lubed o-rings you should have even less friction than the stock delrin bolt becasue of a lesser contact point between the guns' insides & the bolt.
The groove for the ball detent are a bit longer than the stock bolt so that might increase the life of your detents.
I ordered a delrin pull pin to hopefully reduce the bolts' reciprocating mass, so it should also reduce kick....I also ordered teh NDZ bolt so I can compare the stock, A+ and NDZ bolts.
I got the delrin pull pin which reduced the bolts weight to 29g, about 1.1 ounces...so it has a bit less kick now than before.....it sounds like its shooting fast but I know this is not true.
The A+ bolt does not have a way to tighten the pull pin ball stop |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Nice bolt with o-rings....it's not lighter but the o-ring design should give you a better seal when the shot is fired...not bad, not bad at all....I will continue to use this bolt and see if any issues come up. |
