This is a great product, looks and feels like the real thing. When purchased with the whole kit, (mag kit, stock and barrels), it is an awesome deal! As a former military member, i put my toys through the ringer, and this product holds up awesome. Get it, you will not be disappointed. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Buy it, it is an awesome deal and very sturdy. |

Everyone who's going to get this stock is getting it for one reason; looks. However the functionality of the stock shouldn't be overlooked and i'll cover both parts.
Looks: As far as this goes, it's the best one out there. Nothing matches as close to the real thing.
Functionality: Again, it's very good. The stock folds by pulling up on the stock and pushing over. It's held down by a spring so that it can't fold on you while you use it, very nice. While it looks like metal in all of the pictures, it's not. I believe it's a type of polypropelene plastic/resin. It's extremely durable to blunk force; you certainly won't snap this thing anytime soon. However, given the nature of the plastic it's very vulnerable to cuts and gouges. Although this material does flex ever so slightly, which makes it very comfortable.
Installation: I had a heck of a time here. I'm not sure if i just got an off sized one or what, but it was to big to fit correctly. I used a rubber mallet to get the thing on for the first time and when it was all the way in, the pin holes didn't match up. I ended up taking an xacto knife and trimming the plugs and holes to make them fit. In itself this isn't a big deal, just be prepared for it. It makes the stock EXTREMELY tight and therefore it doesn't wiggle even a little bit. but taking it off or putting it on is a nightmare. I still have to use that mallet to pop the pins in and out because they are so stiff. So once you get this on you probably don't want to mess with it much. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
A top notch stock. It is very sturdy, doesn't wobble, and is very durable. Installation is a real pain in the rear, and it's a little on the short side and not adjustable. If you are going for the look i'd definately recommend this. |

| Review: |
When i was looking for a paintball gun i wanted the milsim look. I decided on the a-5 and looked at the kits from opsgear.com. I wanted a cool looking gun but wanted to keep it simple. Since the a-5 looks like an mp5k i decided to go with the pdw look.
This stock is amazing, even though installing it was a bit hard. I've read othe reviews about how other a-5 stocks wobble, but this one is as sturdy as a rock. Only buy stocks from opsgear.com. bar none |
 |
| Conclusion: |
Along with the mp5 magazine kit this gun gets all the attention on my local field. this stock is one of the best out there. buy opsgear.com |

| Review: |
When I first saw the stock I decided that it would be a good idea, basically help to steady your shots, plus it gave me a little more of the mil-sim look that I was trying to get. When it arrived it was very easy to install, loosen one screw, pop out two pins and replace the end plate, then re assemble, took less than a minute. I am very happy with the ease that the stock folds in and out. |
 |
| Conclusion: |
I would recommend this product to any one who is looking for a way to steady their shots and still wants the ability to play with out a stock. Great product . |
