The M5 Proto Software is available as a whole aftermarket board or just a software reflash that replaces the stock software. It includes finer debounce increments, anti-mechanical bounce, and a new tournament lock system with external programming of the settings through the trigger. As with all Musashi 5 based products, five fire modes are present: unlimited rate of fire semi-automatic, capped semi-automatic, ramping PSP mode with adjustable ramp start, PSP burst mode, and NXL full-automatic.
Product Availability
The Tadao Technologies M5 Proto Matrix Board is older, so while it may be available used and in a few cases new, it is not commonly available anymore.

Review:
I aquired this board when I got My PM5, this bard is awesome. The first thing is it has instant on. Just push the power button and your ready to rock and roll. It also has force shot which helps you if you have a barrel obstruction. The modes are awesome. I found it alot easier to walk the trigger with this board than any other gun or board I have tried.
Conclusion:
A good upgrade from stock, does not offer as many modes as some, but has the essential modes
ALright, well i baught this board after my stcok one got all kinky, so i chucked it. I went down to badlands paintball and the ordered one and installed it within a week. The first thing i liked was its instant on. Its beter than holding the burron for 3 seconds.
I never set anything on it, so i jsut used it as it came. I had a tourny so no time to set. I noticed that i was getting around 2-3 more bps than before. This board made my cp roller extrememly responsive. That was a huge improvement.
Another strength is changing settings, i know all boards are nice, but this was nice too. IT comes with tourny lock on so you have to switch it off. You hold trigger down to start it and then cylce trhough everything. THe psp rampig and uncapped ramping is always fun to p[lay with
Conclusion:
I love this obard and belive it made a huge difference in my game, being more responsive.
