This is my first tippmann. When I got it, I was surprised as to how complex the inner parts were! When I tried to install the shroud, I had to take out the original barral mount, which was less the 1/8" smaller then the one that came with the shroud; custom parts! So I had to put the new barral mount in, and basically screw it shut. I noticed when screwing it shut, that it was not tightening properly, the 1/8" was getting in the way. So a professional here in town recomended tightening the screw simultaneously so to speak, and it shut nice and tight. So, it looks like it wont screw shut, but it will, just make sure you have someone holding the A5 together while you are screwing.
Conclusion:
Looks awesome, and very intimidating! People love it, and cant take their eyes off my A5. Its easy to take off, just unscrew it from the new barrel mount, and your good. One thing, is it adds a little wait, but no big deal!
